Abstract: An RF catheter includes a catheter shaft extending between a proximal end and a distal end and defining at least one lumen extending therein. An inflatable balloon is attached to the distal end of the catheter shaft and in fluid communication with the at least one lumen for inflation and deflation of the inflatable balloon. At least one electrically conductive element is positioned on at least a portion of an outer surface of the inflatable balloon. The at least one electrically conductive element is electrically connected to at least one electrical connector adjacent the shaft proximal end.
