Abstract: Feeds in a network-based marketplace are described. The system receives a request, over a network, from a user that is associated with feed selection information, and identifies source feeds based on the feed selection information. The source feeds respectively include a first plurality of content elements. The system generates a presentation feed by retrieving a second plurality of content elements from the source feeds. The generating is performed continuously and in real-time. The system segments the presentation feed into pages and generates interfaces that include a first interface based on the pages. The system communicates the first interface, over the network, to the user, responsive to the receiving of the request.

Abstract: An example process for placing virtual objects in an environment includes: displaying a first view of the environment, the first view including a virtual object displayed at a first location on a first surface of the environment, the first location corresponding to a current location of the electronic device; detecting movement of the electronic device from the current location to an updated location; in accordance with detecting the movement from the current location to the updated location: displaying a second view of the environment, the second view including the virtual object displayed at a second location on the first surface of the environment, the second location corresponding to the updated location; and receiving user input to place the virtual object; and in response to receiving the user input, placing the virtual object at the second location.

Abstract: A threat management facility generates a simulated phishing threat based on one or more characteristics of a network user. Based on whether the user fails to respond appropriately to the simulated phishing threat, the threat management facility may implement one or more prophylactic measures to remediate the security weakness exposed by the user's failure to respond appropriately to the simulated phishing threat. For example, a security policy for an endpoint associated with the user may be adjusted to address the security weakness. Additionally, or alternatively, the user may be enrolled in training directed at reducing the likelihood that the user will be the victim of an actual phishing attack in the future.

Abstract: A clutch apparatus includes a clutch pack including a plurality of friction disks having friction surfaces. The clutch pack may include a plurality of cooling inlets. The clutch pack may selectively transfer torque from a torque supplying member to a torque receiving member. The clutch apparatus may include a rotating manifold having at least a first cooling port for directing a cooling fluid to the clutch pack and at least a portion of the rotating manifold may be coupled for rotation with at least a portion of the friction disks. A fluid-flow area of at least a subset of the plurality of cooling inlets may be dissimilar from other of the plurality of cooling inlets for enabling a desired fluid flow to the friction disks.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for injecting and mixing a treating agent into a fluid stream. The apparatus comprises at least one pipe having a treating agent flowing therethrough. A flow mixer having a planar middle section with two furcated sides is disposed along the length of the pipe. Each furcated side may include at least two branches, each of which may have a flattened outer edge. The pipe has holes that may inject the treating agent towards the planar middle section. Adjacent flow mixers are separated by a distance. As fluid flows into and past the flow mixers, the injected treating agent is mixed with the fluid stream and the mixing is enhanced in turbulent mixing zones in between the flow mixers.

Abstract: A method of reducing odors in lipid-based polyol. At least one lipid-based polyol is provided, and mixed with ricinoleic acid and/or a metal salt of ricinoleic acid. Isocyanate may be added, preferably toluene diisocyanate (TDI). The polyol, and the isocyanate when present, are reacted in the presence of the ricinoleic acid and/or a metal salt of ricinoleic acid which reduces or removes odors in the lipid-based polyol. When isocyanate is used, low, limiting levels are preferred, well below the level required to fully react with all of the polyol. Tin, zinc, sodium, and calcium ricinoleic acid metal salts are particularly preferred. Preferably the reaction takes place without added heat, at room temperature. The reaction may be performed in a chamber which is under at least a partial vacuum.

Abstract: “A computer-implemented method and system (“Legion”) for capturing and outsourcing an existing graphical user interface (“GUI”) of an application to a crowd for their collaborative real-time control using an input device are provided. A crowd refers to a dynamic pool of one or a plurality of anonymous worker of varying skill level and/or reliability. The pool is dynamic because workers are able to come and go at their leisure and no specific worker can be relied upon to be available at a given time or to continue working on a job for a specific amount of time. Mediation strategies for integrating the input of multiple crowd workers in real-time is also provided.
