  • Patent number: 10216783
Abstract: An incoming string is received and an initial segmentation is generated based upon separators in the incoming string. The segment values in the initial segmentation are validated by determining whether they are found in a data store. Where a segment in the initial segmentation is not found, subsequent segments, and corresponding separators, are iteratively concatenated to find segment values. Where a segment is still not found, after iterative concatenation, the initial segment in the concatenation is output as an unfound segment and the subsequent segments are processed further.

  • Patent number: 10107584
Abstract: An improved moveable cocking sled (5) and arrow release (7) for crossbows is described in the disclosure and illustrated in the embodiments in the drawings, where the cocking sled (5) may be latched to the crossbow string (1) and will couple to and be securely held by the arrow release (7) when the cocking sled (5) is drawn to cock the string (1). The cocking sled (5) includes two string latches (2), two latch release sears (4), two pulleys (3) for engaging corresponding ends of a cocking rope (30), and a rectangular hole (6) with a reverse-angle side tilted toward the crossbow string (1) at approximately a five degree angle. The string latches (2) each have a respective axle on which they rotate “open” and “closed”. The string latches (2) rotate “open” in response to a downward motion of their respective latch release sears (4) and rotate “closed” when moved forward by a shooter and pushed against the crossbow string (1).

  • Patent number: 9921026
Abstract: An improved elongated-draw compact crossbow (150) includes a riser (101), stirrup (100), right and left split limbs (102) each having a first end coupled to the riser (101), right and left cams (104 and 103) with axles coupled to respective second ends of the right and left split limbs (102), string (105) and harness coupled to right and left cams (104 and 103), and a rifle-type stock (110) with a substantially rectangular-shaped barrel (109) having a bore end and butt end and being coupled to the stock (110). When the string (105) of the crossbow (150) is fully drawn and cocked, covers (108 and 107) may be pivoted on the cylindrical rods of respective brackets (106) until they rest against the side of the barrel (109) and cover the string (105) when cocked.

  • Patent number: 9396111
Abstract: A consuming subsystem calculates information based on setup information from one or more other subsystems. Each of the one or more other subsystems generates a base version value that changes every time any of the setup information changes. The consuming subsystem caches information, including the base version values at the time the information was calculated by the consuming subsystem.

  • Publication number: 20160098440
Abstract: A data entry control is displayed at a client system, with user input mechanisms that allow a user to enter either unstructured data, or structured data. When the user enters information, a pre-segmentation validation is performed on the client system and the displayed data entry control is updated based on pre-segmentation results. When a server call is made to perform a server-side segmentation, the segmentation results received from the server are merged into the segmentation results on the client system.

  • Patent number: 9004053
Abstract: A crossbow 100 includes a rifle-style stock 22, barrel 23, bowstring 1, and a string release housing 21 with a novel string release assembly. The string release assembly in string release housing 21 includes a string latch 12 for retaining fully-drawn and cocked bowstring 1 against a string horn 19, a trigger 6 for releasing or shooting the arrow 2, a safety button 25 for the movement of the safety plate 7 from the safe position to the fire position, and a load lever 4 for loading the arrow 2. There is a safety button 25 on each side of the release housing 21 so that the safety of crossbow 100 may be operated by a right-handed or left-handed shooter. Bowstring 1 rests against the inclined surface 29 of the string horn 19 and is retained in the fully-drawn and cocked position between the string latch tangs 30 and 31 and the inclined surface 29 of the string horn 19.
