The request includes a unique identifier for the data file. The cloud service determines instructions for transferring the data file to a destination based on the file's unique identifier. The cloud service sends the transfer instructions to the relay resource via an API, the instructions including information for uploading the file to the destination.

    Abstract: Implementations relate to a multimodal translation application that can provide an abridged version of a translation through an audio interface of a computing device, while simultaneously providing a verbatim textual translation at a display interface of the computing device. The application can provide these different versions of the translation in certain circumstances when, for example, the rate of speech of a person speaking to a user is relatively high compared to a preferred rate of speech of the user. For example, a comparison between phonemes of an original language speech and a translated language speech can be performed to determine whether the ratio satisfies a threshold for providing an audible abridged translation. A determination to provide the abridged translation can additionally or alternatively be based on a determined language of the speaker.

    Abstract: A computer generated voice can automatically be adapted to be similar to a user's voice. Various implementations include processing audio data capturing a first language spoken utterance to identify one or more pitch characteristics. For example, the one or more pitch characteristics can include an estimated frequency range of the given user's voice. Additionally or alternatively, the system can process the audio data capturing the first language spoken utterance and a set of candidate computer generated voices using a computer generated voice selection model to select a candidate computer generated voice. Various implementations can include automatically modifying the selected candidate computer generated voice based on the one or more pitch characteristics to change the frequency range of the modified computer generated voice based on the user's voice.

    Abstract: A N2O decomposition reactor and a method of its use to produce an effluent suitable for use in an ignition device or in the main fuel injection system in high speed aircraft. N2O decomposition is an exothermic reaction and produces a high temperature product containing high concentrations of O2. Combination of fuel with this effluent ignites quickly and is an effective ignition source for the aircraft combustor. Reactor performance is adjusted to meet the conditions required for a selected application by changing the relative concentrations of CO2 and N2O, modifying the reactor length, and varying the quantity of catalyst in the reactor. For use in a pilot ignition device, the desired effluent temperature is between 500° C. and 1200° C. in order to ignite and combust the fuel within the design residence time, between 0.5 and 10 ms. For application as a barbotage gas generator in a fuel injection system, the temperature of the effluent can range from 300° C. up to 800° C.

Such calls to the API can be configured to adjust parameters of a behavioral objective associated with a trajectory generation process performed by the autonomous navigation system that controls the behavior of the autonomous vehicle. Beneath the plate, a bag opener is provided that includes a plurality of blades, with at least one blade transverse to the others. The plastic bag is penetrated with aeration spears and pressurized. The bag opener is moved relative to the plate such that the blades pass through the slots and open the bag. The plate is then allowed to pivot downwards, allowing its contents to be emptied into a hopper beneath the plate.
