    Abstract: The present inventive subject matter is drawn to systems and methods of disinfecting and sanitizing the tires and forks of industrial forklifts. In one aspect of this invention, a modular forklift disinfecting system is presented comprising a sanitizing trough designed to allow driving a forklift up a first ramp, into the sanitizing trough containing a sanitizing solution, and out the other end of the sanitizing trough down a second ramp. The system is designed to operate without diverting the forklift from its normal business operation, or utilizing any extra machinery. In another aspect of this invention, a method for disinfecting the tires and forks of industrial forklifts is also presented.
