  • Publication number: 20240173660
Abstract: A downflow polymer product withdrawal system includes a withdrawal line to collect a product including a powder and a carrier gas. The line may include at least one downward sloped descending section and is absent of any non-self draining regions. The downflow system may further include a lock hopper, a fill valve between the line and the lock hopper, and a discharge valve downstream of the lock hopper. An upflow polymer product withdrawal system includes a withdrawal line to collect and discharge a product comprising a powder and a carrier gas. The line may include at least one non-vertical section including at least one upward sloped ascending section and at least one downward sloped descending section, and is absent of any non-self draining regions. The upflow system may further include a lock hopper, a fill valve between the line and the lock hopper, and a discharge valve.

  • Patent number: 7258645
Abstract: The drivetrain with multiple differentials includes a common side gear. The side gear has a cylindrical body with a central bore. Receiving members are on the bore to receive a shaft. An annular member is on the body with the bore extending through the annular member. A plurality of teeth is formed on an external surface of the annular member. A plurality of steps is formed in the wall defining the central bore. The steps extend towards the body from the annular member. A retaining mechanism, to retain the side gears on the shaft, is positioned in one of the plurality of the steps.

  • Patent number: 7108428
Abstract: The present invention provides an axle assembly for a motor vehicle including an axle housing, a differential assembly supported in the axle housing with a differential bearing, a bearing insert, an adjuster sleeve and a lock ring. The bearing insert is coupled to the axle housing. The adjuster sleeve is rotatably coupled to the bearing insert in a pre-installed position. The adjuster sleeve is adapted to engage the differential bearing and impart a preload force thereon. The lock ring is disposed between the bearing insert and the adjuster sleeve in an installed position. The lock ring precludes relative movement between the bearing insert and the adjuster sleeve thereby maintaining a desired preload on the differential bearing.
