  • Patent number: 11406993
Abstract: A nozzle adapter/attachment includes features that facilitate use and protects the user from possible fluid exposure. The nozzle attachment is configured with features that both align and clamp onto an existing nozzle. In one embodiment, there are three sets of alignment and clasping features.

  • Publication number: 20200282410
Abstract: A nozzle adapter for a manually adjustable liquid spray nozzle and which includes features that facilitate use and protects the user from possible fluid exposure. The nozzle adapter includes a bell-shaped feature that funnels any liquid dripping from the end of the nozzle away from the user, and further includes a series of drip edges, dams, and liquid pathways that further divert any leaked liquids away from the user. Finally, the adapter includes a user touch point for adjusting the spray pattern of the nozzle that is positioned radially outwardly a greater distance than the nozzle outlet to further enhance the protective properties of the nozzle adapter.

  • Patent number: 9744548
Abstract: The invention provides a telescoping wand assembly for use in dispensing liquid from a container, including a trigger module extending along a longitudinal axis between proximal and distal ends. The trigger module includes a tubular handle member, a user accessible trigger positioned externally of the tubular handle member that is selectively movable between first and second positions, a hose positioned within the tubular handle member and adapted to transport liquid from the container, and a valve actuating member that is selectively, movably actuable by movement of the trigger between its first and second positions. A stationary frame assembly provides rigidity and contact points for a telescopically movable tube assembly that extends from the trigger module. A shut-off valve and nozzle are positioned at the distal end of the wand assembly and movement of the shut-off valve is controlled by the trigger and translated by way of the tube assembly.

  • Patent number: 5544710
Abstract: The invention is an impulse wrench that employs a fluid coupling between its anvil and hammer members. The tool includes a pulse cylinder that forms the tool's hammer and has a shaped inner surface that defines a side wall of a fluid-filled chamber. An end portion of the anvil is received within the chamber and includes two retractable vanes that sweep the pulse cylinder's inner surface when the pulse cylinder is rotating about the anvil. To achieve only a single impact per revolution of the pulse cylinder, fluid bypass channels are employed to intermittently allow fluid to pass around the vanes. In addition, the tool includes a unique torque-sensing shut-off mechanism that is engaged to the tool's motor and makes use of inertia force to actuate a power shut-off device.
