Abstract: Electronic document design systems and methods for creating customized electronic product designs. A design representative creates customized product designs for a remote customer by combining text and images supplied by the customer over a global communication network with electronically stored layouts, images, color schemes, and other selected component elements. Tools are available to the customer to facilitate supplying information for incorporation into the designs and feedback comments. Images of product designs are made available for viewing by the customer. Automated tools allow the design representative to select and replace component elements and save the resulting product design for review by the customer.
