Abstract: A network system provides delivery of items using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) or drones. The network system uses an infrastructure of nodes that include landing pads to dock drones, as well as interfaces to provide and receive items from docked drones. Nodes may be stationary (e.g., fixed at a building rooftop or public transit station) or mobile (e.g., mounted to a vehicle). The network system may determine a route for delivery of an item, where a drone transports the item for at least a portion of the route. For example, the route may include multiple waypoints associated with nodes between which drones travel. For other portions of the route, the network system may request a provider to transport the item using a ground-based vehicle.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for configuring automatic playback settings on a media playback device. A graphical user interface displays automatic playback settings and receives selections of customized settings for automatic playback. The settings can include context granularity for automatic playback, limiting autoplay to when the media playback device is connected to a wireless network, and activating an audible notification when automatic playback of media content is beginning. An initial queue of media content is selected for playback on the media playback device. The system ascertains whether autoplay is enabled for a particular situation. If autoplay is enabled, the system automatically generates a queue of media that is related to the initial queue and initiates playback on the media playback device after the initial queue concludes.

For example, in one embodiment, a femto cell is disclosed that includes a processing unit configured to execute instructions to perform operations comprising: enabling a call gating function associated with a cellular device in response to receiving an activation signal from the cellular device, monitoring for an incoming call to the cellular device in response to enabling the call gating function associated with the cellular device; identifying a caller ID associated with an incoming call in response to receiving an incoming call to the cellular device; determining whether the caller ID is on a list of allowed caller IDs associated with the cellular device; and routing the incoming call to the cellular device in response to a determination that the caller ID is on the list of allowed caller IDs associated with the cellular device.

Abstract: An embodiment of a system for transmitting an audio signal over a voice channel of a voice communication session includes a base station. The base station includes an audio player docking station configured for coupling the base station with an audio player device, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to establish a voice communication session between the base station and a communication device. The voice communication session has a voice channel for carrying voice data between the base station and the communication device. The at least one processor is further configured to receive a user input including a request for an audio signal from the audio player device, and send the audio signal request to the audio player device. The at least one processor is further configured to receive the requested audio signal from the audio player device, and mix the audio signal into the voice channel of the voice communication session.

In response to detecting the presence a wireless device within the range of the residential wireless access point, the method identifies an identifier associated with the wireless device.
