Patent number: 7783803Abstract: Pairing service technologies is described. In embodiment(s), peripheral devices can be discovered, such as by a computer device, and a peripheral device can be configured with multiple services that each correspond to one or more data communication protocols. The multiple services of the peripheral device can be determined, and a pairing sequence can be prioritized for the multiple services. The data communication protocol(s) can then be paired according to the pairing sequence to configure the multiple services of the peripheral device.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2008Date of Patent: August 24, 2010Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: David J. Patent number: 5139029Abstract: An allergy testing apparatus for testing a patient for a plurality of allergies at the same time comprises an actuating member resiliently suspended from a frame member and which is movable relative to the frame member. A plurality of spaced apart substance sources are mounted in the frame member below the actuating member. A plurality of spaced apart needles or the like are mounted on the actuating member and extend in the same direction so as to pierce the respective substance sources during movement of the actuating member toward the skin of a patient to apply the substances to the skin of a patient. According to another feature of the invention, the device is shaped like a rotatable, drum-like device, having a plurality of layers. The needles or the like are covered over by a resilient layer, and substance containing means are mounted over the resilient layer and in registration with the respective needles.Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 1991Date of Patent: August 18, 1992Assignee: Henry FishmanInventors: Henry Fishman, Gary D. Patent number: 4675820Abstract: An inertial sensor assembly (ISA) includes a cluster of three ring laser gyros, each gyro producing an output signal having a pulse repetition rate representative of the rate of angular deviation of the ISA about one of three coordinate axes X, Y, and Z. The ring laser gyros are synchronously dithered at a relatively constant rate. The ISA also includes a triad of three accelerometers, with each accelerometer producing an output signal representative of the rate of velocity deviation of the ISA along one of the X, Y, and Z coordinate axes. A first processor, P1, accumulates the pulses produced by each ring laser gyro over its dither period. The resultant counts are stored in registers for subsequent sampling by the P1 processor at a periodic sampling rate which is greater than the dither rate. The P1 processor then synchronizes each sampled pulse count to a common sampling interval, thereby eliminating errors otherwise caused by using positional data values taken at different times.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 1984Date of Patent: June 23, 1987Assignee: Sundstrand Data Control, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey T. Smith, David E. Frazier, Ronald B. Leonardson
