The method includes displaying, on a user terminal display device, a first user interface (UI) configured to display application data in organized rows and columns, receiving, by a data management system, updates and/or edits to the application data, and calculating, by the data management system, the updated and/or edited application data. The method further includes analyzing, by the data management system, the updates and/or edits to determine one or more of associated errors, warnings, and exceptions, and displaying, within the first UI, a graphical representation for each of the errors, warnings, and exceptions in the row and/or column of the application data where the error, warning, or exception has occurred.

A first user option enables a user to add a representation of a human resource to a shortlist. A second user option enables a user to initiate a comparison operation based one or more user selected human resources chosen from the shortlist. In a more specific embodiment, the comparison operation results in display of a comparison view that juxtaposes various attributes of human resources being compared. Example attributes include numbers of keyword matches appearing in human resource profiles, availability scores, locations, billing rates, qualification scores, and so on.

A plurality of resource records may be searched using a first set of search criteria to identify a subset of resource records from the plurality of resource records. Each record of the plurality of resource records may indicate qualifications of a corresponding resource. Each record of the plurality of resource records may also correspond to a person. A selection of candidate resource records may be received from the subset of resource records. A listing of candidate resources that indicates each candidate resource selected by the user may be presented to the user. The listing of candidate resources that indicate each candidate resource selected by the user may be linked to the resource request, such that the listing of candidate resources is presented when the resource request is accessed.
