  • Patent number: 12254689
Abstract: An implement management system detects implement wear and monitors implement states to modify operating modes of a vehicle. The system can determine implement wear using the pull of the implement on the vehicle, the force and angle of which is represented by an orientation vector. The system may measure a current orientation vector and determine an expected orientation vector using sensors and a model (e.g., a machine learned model). Additionally, the implement management system can determine an implement state based on images of the soil and the implement captured by a camera onboard the vehicle during operation. The system may apply different models to the images to determine a likely state of the implement. The difference between the expected and current orientation vectors or the determined implement state may be used to determine whether and how the vehicle's operating mode should be modified.

  • Publication number: 20250039263
Abstract: An application is installed on a computing device from an application package. An origin of the application (e.g., a managed installer for an enterprise, a reputation checking service) is propagated to files written to a storage device of the computing device as part of the installation, such as by writing origin information to the storage device as metadata associated with the file. The origin information for a file, in conjunction with a policy on the computing device specifying one or more trusted origins for applications on the computing device, is used to identify whether a particular action can be taken with and/or by the file. These actions can include, for example, execution of an application from an executable file. If the origin information for a file indicates an origin that is a trusted origin specified by the policy, then the action can be performed.

  • Patent number: 8416939
Abstract: A method of using a computer to provide music on hold, including receiving a telephone call from a caller; determining that the telephone call is to be put on hold at a computer at a first location; using the computer to retrieve from a memory coupled to the computer a music genre corresponding to a telephone number for the telephone call, wherein the telephone number corresponds to a second location; sending a request to a media server for a music file containing music fitting the music genre corresponding to the second location, wherein the media server has stored therein music files for a plurality of genres for a plurality of locations; and streaming via the media server the music file containing music fitting the music genre corresponding to the second location to the caller.

  • Patent number: 6939078
Abstract: A precast concrete slab and framing system is placed in walkways, curb ramps, platform edges, and areas of pedestrian traffic where they intersect with vehicular traffic, warning the visually handicapped of dangerous crossings. The precast slabs, which incorporate raised, truncated domes on the top side and a floated finish on the bottom side, are made to be set in the frame which has been set and cast into fresh concrete. A number of slabs are placed in a frame abutting each other on top of sand and the edges are filled with sand to lock them into place. The top surface is placed to be flush with the walking surface.

  • Patent number: 6360709
Abstract: A piston and cylinder assembly according to the invention includes a cylinder block having a cylinder defined by a cylinder bore wall, a cylinder head connected to the cylinder block, and a piston for reciprocating in the cylinder relative the cylinder head. A combustion chamber for an air/fuel mixture has a volume formed by the cylinder bore wall, cylinder head, and the piston, and is divided into an intake side and an exhaust side by a longitudinal center axis of the piston. A spark plug is mounted in the cylinder head and extends into the combustion chamber to ignite the air/fuel mixture therein. A crown of the piston has a raised peak offset from the longitudinal center axis for providing a homogeneous air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber near the spark plug.
