  • Patent number: 11929826
Abstract: Consistent with the present disclosure, a photonic integrated circuit (PIC) is provided that has 2 N channels (N being an integer). The PIC is optically coupled to N optical fibers, such that each of N polarization multiplexed optical signals are transmitted over a respective one of the N optical fibers. In another example, each of the N optical fibers supply a respective one of N polarization multiplexed optical signals to the PIC for coherent detection and processing. A multiplexer and demultiplexer may be omitted from the PIC, such that the optical signals are not combined on the PIC. As a result, the transmitted and received optical signals incur less loss and amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) noise. In addition, optical taps may be more readily employed on the PIC to measure outputs of the lasers, such as widely tunable lasers (WTLs), without crossing waveguides.

  • Patent number: 10664637
Abstract: Messages transmitted from an emulator to a testbench of a part of the testbench are recorded from a starting point of an emulation operation to a checkpoint of the emulation operation. State information of the emulator at the checkpoint is captured and stored. The emulator is then configured to a state corresponding to the checkpoint based on the stored state information, and the testbench or the part of the testbench is restored to the checkpoint by running the testbench or the part of the testbench based on the recorded messages.

  • Publication number: 20120279152
Abstract: A seamless floor-to-wall transition assembly, kit, and method of installation having a plurality of cove panels which overlie the joint between a floor and a base of a wall, each having a curved outer surface which collectively form a seamless exterior surface, and a floor covering material sufficient to form a coating to cover the floor and abutting an outer free end of the cove panels, to provide a substantially smooth transition from floor covering material to cove panels. In clinical applications, the assembly also including at least one topcoat material which is sufficient to form a continuous coating to overlie the floor covering material and at least a portion of the cove panels, to provide a seamless transition between the floor covering material and the cove panels, which is easier to clean and minimizes crevices which can harbor dirt or germs leading to a more sanitary environment.

  • Publication number: 20090084055
Abstract: A combination material comprising a surface material and a backing such as plasterboard is adjoined to a connector that allows adjoinment with another connector affixed onto a frame. The combination material comprises overlapping regions, allowing stacking and the connection means allows adjustment of the combination material for perfect fit. A linear frame element provides an efficient means for connecting the combination material to a frame.

  • Patent number: 6344221
Abstract: A method of binding and inactivating ergot alkaloids from forages is described whereby a combination of a modified yeast cell wall extract and a mineral clay is fed to animals in amounts sufficient to inactivate alkaloids present in the forages. The yeast cell wall extract/clay mixture may be admixed with feeds, incorporated directly into pelleted feeds, or fed directly to animals.
