    Abstract: A creature figure toy includes a launching device for a flying object. The object is seated within an enclosure formed by wings simulated on the body of the device, in which position high-speed rotation can be imparted to it. When the operator wishes to release the object, the actuating lever is moved to a stroke limit position, whereupon the enclosing wings spring open to permit exit of the object.
