  • Publication number: 20250060486
Abstract: A positioning device for determining the location of a vehicle stationary or moving on roads of a given network from positioning signals broadcasted by satellites of at least one constellation of satellites, comprising: a first unit determining a plurality of possible current positions and a plurality of time stamps, configured to: generate local replicas of positioning signals; receive, positioning signals broadcasted by one or more satellites in view; process, for each possible current position and time stamp, a correlation function between a received positioning signal and a local replica; a second unit: determining a common error to all the satellites, correcting the correlation results using the common error, determining, for each possible current position of the vehicle, multi-satellite likelihoods; determining a position and time stamp by comparing the multi-satellite likelihoods.

  • Publication number: 20250022159
Abstract: Onboard a machine adapted to move on one predetermined path, a database stores definition data of landmark objects along the path and associated to its 3D geographical coordinates and a capture block provides images of the scene in front of the machine. The capture block includes a teledetection block adapted to create an image from received echos and to calculate from the echoes, direction and distance, relative to the machine, of the echoing object.

  • Patent number: 11754676
Abstract: Various devices, systems and methods for performing targeted sleep tracking are presented herein. Multiple digital radar data streams from multiple antennas may be received. A direction optimization process may be performed to determine a first weighting and a second weighting. The first weighting may be applied to a first digital radar data stream. The second weighting may be applied to a second digital radar data stream. The weighted first digital radar data stream and the weighted second digital radar data stream may be combined to create a first directionally-targeted radar data stream. A sleep analysis can be performed based on the first directionally-targeted radar data stream. Sleep data may be output for a user based on the performed sleep analysis.

  • Publication number: 20220390952
Abstract: A computer-implemented method when executed by data processing hardware causes the data processing hardware to perform operations. The operations include detecting a candidate support surface at an elevation less than a current surface supporting a legged robot. A determination is made on whether the candidate support surface includes an area of missing terrain data within a portion of an environment surrounding the legged robot, where the area is large enough to receive a touchdown placement for a leg of the legged robot. If missing terrain data is determined, at least a portion of the area of missing terrain data is classified as a no-step region of the candidate support surface. The no-step region indicates a region where the legged robot should avoid touching down a leg of the legged robot.

  • Publication number: 20220145914
Abstract: A mobile device mounting system includes two jaws. The first jaw is generally fixed in position to a wheeled vehicle. The second jaw is pivotably connected to the first jaw via a hinge. The second jaw can be positioned into a closed or open position relative to the first jaw. A biasing element is used to move the second jaw towards the closed position. A support element spans the first and second jaws and may be used to support the mobile device when the mobile device is placed in the mounting system.

  • Patent number: 10973103
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for presence and directional motion detection. Signals may be received from a sensor positioned in a structure. An indication of directional motion may be generated based on the signals from the sensor. The indication of directional motion may be generated without using signals from additional sensors. A control signal for a device in the structure may be generated in response to the indication of directional motion. The control signal may be sent to the device in the structure to be implemented by the device.

  • Patent number: 8903887
Abstract: A programming model allows application programmers to extract Web services from various types of resources. The programming model defines relationships between various resource types and methods for each resource type to extract a Web service or another linked resource. • Patent number: 8572494
Abstract: An extensible software framework is used for the development and customization of XML based Web service deployment descriptors. The framework may provide for the mapping and synchronization of XML data fragments in the XML files to user interface components, resulting in an interface that can be used for the development and customization of the Web service configuration. This mechanism may allow concurrent read and write accesses to the XML based Web service deployment descriptors. The mechanism may be extensible, providing for the mapping between the user interface and the XML data fragments to be customized. Additional extensibility may come from the ability of the framework to readily accommodate the situation where the complete configuration of the Web service is described in multiple XML files. The resulting editor may present one unified display of all of the information across multiple files.
