  • Publication number: 20190289007
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to preventing unauthorized access to secured information systems using advanced pre-authentication techniques. A computing platform may receive, from a local traffic manager, a first enriched access request associated with a first remote computing device. Then, the computing platform may apply a pre-authentication classification model to the first enriched access request associated with the first remote computing device. Thereafter, the computing platform may determine that the first enriched access request associated with the first remote computing device is likely malicious. Then, the computing platform may generate one or more first pre-authentication response commands directing client portal server infrastructure to process the first enriched access request associated with the first remote computing device as a malicious request.

  • Patent number: 10389526
Abstract: A method for distributing a quantum digital key is described. The method comprises the use of an optical broadband source to generate an optical broadband signal. The optical broadband signal may be transmitted from a first party to a second party through an optical communication channel. The optical broadband signal may be transmitted with a low brightness, such as less than one photon/(sec-Hz), so as to be immune from passive attacks. Furthermore, a method for detecting the presence of active attackers is described. The method may comprise a coincidence measurement configured to measure the level of entanglement between an optical detection signal and an optical idler signal.

  • Publication number: 20190245793
Abstract: A method of operating a data network may include establishing a data path through the data network between a routing gateway and service provider equipment providing a data service. Moreover, the data service may be provided for use at the routing gateway over the data path during a data session. A request may be received from the service provider equipment where the request defines a data flow characteristic for the data path between the routing gateway and the service provider equipment providing the data service. The data flow characteristic may then be transmitted to a network element along the data path between the routing gateway and the service provider equipment. A request from service provider equipment can include an allowed bandwidth or prioritization. Related methods, data networks, data service providers, routing gateways, and computer program products are also discussed.

  • Patent number: 10372585
Abstract: A system and method that automatically detects that a regression incident has occurred, and identifies the particular revision(s) of source code that introduced the regression incident is disclosed herein. The system and method execute one or more simulations of each revision in a window of revisions of the source code to compute values for one or more metrics. The metric values are then used to compute regression confidence values as well as a regression confidence interval—to then detect a regression incident and identify the revision that caused the regression incident. The system and method can also identify subsequent revision(s) that sufficiently fix regression incident(s) caused by a revision such that a software developer can be informed of these fixing revisions.

  • Publication number: 20190235228
Abstract: Alloys of GeSbSeTe (GSST) can be used to make actively tunable infrared transmission filters that are small, fast, and solid-state. These filters can be used for hyperspectral imaging, 3D LIDAR, portable bio/chem sensing systems, thermal emission control, and tunable filters. GSST is a low-loss phase-change material that can switch from a low-index (n=3), amorphous state to a high-index (n=4.5), hexagonal state with low loss (k<0.3) over a wavelength range of 2-10 microns or more. The GSST thickness can be selected to provide pure phase modulation, pure amplitude modulation, or coupled phase and amplitude modulation. GSST can be switched thermally in an oven, optically with visible light, or electrically via Joule heating at speeds from kilohertz to Gigahertz. It operates with reversible and polarization independent transmission switching over a wide incident angle (e.g., 0-60 degrees).
