  • Patent number: 10912346
Abstract: An exoskeleton boot that can be selectively coupled to and decoupled from a lower link of an exoskeleton includes an upper configured to receive a foot of a human user and an outsole coupled to the upper. An exoskeleton connection interface is structurally coupled to the outsole and has a locked mode and an unlocked mode. In the locked mode, the exoskeleton connection interface is configured to inhibit decoupling from a boot connection interface of an exoskeleton link. In the unlocked mode, the exoskeleton connection interface is configured to facilitate decoupling from the boot connection interface.

  • Patent number: 9802307
Abstract: An intermediate link for a tool arm assembly is provided. The intermediate link includes first and second connectors that are at least partially rotatable about respective first and second rotation axes. The intermediate link includes first and/or second lock rotation mechanisms that are configured to selectively prevent rotation of the first and second connectors.

  • Patent number: 5687064
Abstract: A integrated circuit card having a rigidized frame to surround the electronic devices on a printed circuit (PC) board. The card includes a frame and integral cover for the top and bottom. The top and bottom are constructed out of a material that does not interfere with the use of an antenna coupled to the board assembly within the card. The bottom and top are coupled together using pins. When the two are coupled together the frame is better supported.

  • Patent number: 5024783
Abstract: An in-service formulation for the removal of scale deposits from metallic working surfaces of boilers and for the ongoing prevention of build-up of such deposits on boiler surfaces, with such deposits commonly consisting of insoluble salts of calcium together with oxides of iron. The formulation comprises a blend of selected phosphonates, sodium lignosulfonate, one or more scale-modifying polymers, along with one or more chelants. Sodium gluconate is utilized for its ability to inhibit corrosion of ferrous surfaces. The pH of the working solution is adjusted to a level of between about 10.5 to 12.5. The formulation of the present invention provides a significant capacity for the removal of scale while remaining fully compatible with the water present in the system during and after scale removal, and the materials remain effective with contaminants present in the boiler water following a substantial number of cycles of concentration.

  • Patent number: 5023011
Abstract: An in-service formulation for the removal of scale deposits from metallic working surfaces of cooling towers and for the ongoing prevention of build-up of such deposits on cooling tower surfaces, with such deposits commonly consisting of insoluble salts of calcium together with oxides of iron. The formulation comprises a blend of selected phosphonates, one or more scale-modifying polymers, along with one or more chelants. Sodium gluconate is utilized for its ability to inhibit corrosion of ferrous surfaces as well as its synergistic effect in conjunction with other constituents for the removal of scale components (as demonstrated in U.S. Pat. No. 4,279,768). In those systems having non-ferrous metallic surfaces, such surfaces have been found to be adequately protected by the formulation through the incorporation of a triazole inhibitor.
