  • Publication number: 20080142063
Abstract: A tent pole fixer is provided that is mounted on the edge of a tent so as to connect an end portion of a pole. The tent pole fixer has one end portion coupled to an edge of a tent, a longitudinally middle portion to which the pole supporting the tent is coupled, and the other end portion coupled to the fly covering the tent, wherein the both end portions are able to relatively move up and down about the middle portion. The tent pole fixer has a benefit of improving air permeability of the tent with the securing of sufficient space between the tent and the fly.

  • Publication number: 20070017563
Abstract: A tent has at least one main pole fixed to a ground with being bended into an arch shape so as to constitute a frame of the tent, a main body made of waterproof fabric and expanded by the main pole to form a dome shape having a predetermined volume, and a wind screen provided to the highest top portion of the main body so as to extend while approximately forming a horizontality with the ground and capable of resisting wind flowing along an outer surface of the main body. According to the tent, since the side of the tent is raised due to the wind screen even when the strong wind blows, it is possible to the original shape of the tent without any deformation.

  • Publication number: 20070017564
Abstract: A connector for connecting tent poles has a tubular body and a plurality of insert poles connected radially to the body and inserted into one end of the tent pole. A plurality of tap holes are formed along a periphery of the body at an interval and an external screw portion corresponding to the tap hole is formed on one end of the insert pole, so that the insert pole is screw-engaged to the tap hole. According to the invention, the tent poles are connected to the connector via the insert poles without being directly connected to the connector. Accordingly, it is possible to minimize the size and the weight of the connector and to prevent the tent pole from being damaged at the connection region with the connector when the bending stress is applied to the region.

  • Publication number: 20060233599
Abstract: In the connection structure of tent poles, both ends of a connecting rod are inserted into opposing ends of a pair of tent poles to connect the tent poles and the connecting rod has an outer diameter corresponding to inner diameters of the tent poles. A widened tubular part is formed on at least one of ends of the tent poles and has a diameter larger than that of the end on which the widened tubular part is formed. An end of the connecting rod has an outer diameter corresponding to an inner diameter of the widened tubular part and is inserted and fixed into the widened tubular part. A magnitude of the moment of inertia of the connecting rod is 60% or more of the moment of inertia of the widened tubular part of the tent pole.
