  • Publication number: 20150172705
Abstract: A window detection device and method on multi-media system is disclosed in the present invention. The window detection device includes a sampling unit, a frame buffer, a motion detector and an edge detector. The sampling unit samples an image from a frame source to generate a sampled frame. The frame buffer stores the sampled frame. The motion detector compares a previous sampled frame stored in the frame buffer and an upcoming current sampled frame to find out a difference between the previous sampled frame and the current sampled frame so as to determine a motion area of the image. The edge detector receives the motion area and enhances edges of the motion area. Further the edge detector detects the enhanced motion area to generate high frequency edges. The window detection device determines a motion image windows area according to the high frequency edges.

  • Patent number: 6935368
Abstract: A cold-hot water faucet includes a main tube and a shaft tube fitted rotatably into the main tube. The main tube is provided with a valve chamber and two fastening ports for fastening respectively with a cold water pipe and a hot water pipe. A ball valve is rotatably disposed in the valve chamber. The shaft tube is provided with a plurality of through holes corresponding in location to the ball valve and is further provided with two selection holes corresponding respectively to the fastening ports of the main tube. The on-off mechanism of the faucet is brought about by the ball valve and a rotary knob by which the ball valve is turned. The cold-hot water adjustment mechanism of the faucet is effected by the shaft tube and a selector by which the shaft tube is turned in relation to the main tube.

  • Patent number: 6499720
Abstract: A ball valve includes a valve body and an urging member. The valve body is formed of a valve block, and two leakproof rings. The urging member is formed of a movable block, a locating element, and an elastic element located by the locating element. The movable block is provided with two slots for locating the leakproof rings, and with two annular protruded edges. In the event of deformation of the leakproof rings, the leakproof rings are pushed by the elastic element to make contact with the valve block. In the event that the leakproof rings are melted by fire, the valve block is pressed against by the annular protruded edges, so as to minimize the leakage of the ball valve.

  • Patent number: 6488261
Abstract: A ball valve includes a valve body, a cap, a disk spring, a driven member, and a spherical body. The disk spring and the driven member are disposed in the cap such that the driven member is urged by the disk spring to displace, thereby causing the driven member to push PTFE washers to come in contact with the spherical body.

  • Publication number: 20020020443
Abstract: A faucet includes a main body and a switch knob. The main body has a cold water connector, a hot water connector, and a balancing valve member. The switch knob is disposed at the junction of the two water connectors. The two water connectors are provided with a neck portion to accommodate the balancing valve member which is formed of an urging rod, two push seats fastened to the urging rod, and two rolling balls. The cold water flow and the hot water flow are regulated by the balancing valve member.

  • Patent number: 6199824
Abstract: A spherical valve is formed of a main body, a cover, and a spherical body. The main body is of a hollow construction and is provided in the interior with a partition dividing the interior into an inner receiving cell and an outer receiving cell. The main body is provided at both ends with a threaded tubular portion in communication with the inner and the outer receiving cells. The cover is provided in the inner side with an annular body having an annular clamp seat. The spherical body is located between the main body and the cover and is provided in the interior with an L-shaped channel to be oriented in accordance with the opening and the closing of the spherical valve.
