  • Publication number: 20130300559
Abstract: An approach is provided for remote healthy caring and monitoring through data transmission and processing. A biological monitoring device comprises a biological sensor, a motion detector, a warning module, a transmitting module and a controller. The biological sensor acquires a biological data from a person. The motion detector senses a variation of acceleration and a variation of angle to acquire a physical condition data. The transmitting module transmits the biological data and the physical condition data to a terminal device. The controller calculates the biological data and the physical condition data based on a predetermined rule, and sends a control signal to trigger a warning module or the transmitting module according to a calculating result. The warning module is configured to send a noticeable signal to inform the person. Therefore, the monitoring range is dynamically adjusted based on the biological and physical of the person.

  • Publication number: 20130289505
Abstract: A negative pressure wound therapy system creates a negative pressure environment in the opening of a wound-dressing unit and a positive pressure environment in the collecting bag. Then a positive pressure detecting procedure is proceeded in the positive pressure environment and a negative pressure detecting procedure is proceeded in the negative pressure environment. The detecting results are sent to determine whether a micro pump is stopped.

  • Publication number: 20130274718
Abstract: A fluid collector has a container, a T-tube, a first screw unit and a second screw unit. The T-tube is connected to the container and has a main pipe and a branch pipe. The first screw unit is mounted in an outlet end of the main pipe. The second screw unit is mounted in a connecting end of the branch pipe, which is connected to the main pipe. The branch pipe has a detecting opening far from the connecting end and connects to a detecting device. By changing the length of the first and second screw units, different detecting values of the pressure are adjusted according to containers with different capacities. Moreover, with the flowing resistance resulting from the first and second screw units, different pressure variations are performed when liquid or air passes through the T-tube. Therefore, massive hemorrhage is clearly identified to keep the patient safe.

  • Patent number: 8303555
Abstract: A collector for a negative pressure wound therapy system has a soft collecting bag with a gas-permeable unit and a liquid absorber. The collecting bag is connected to a wound-dressing unit via an inlet connecting set and is connected to a sensor assembly via a detecting connecting set. With the soft collecting bag, the collector occupies less volume. By the gas-permeable unit and the liquid absorber, the liquid and gas entering into the collecting bag quickly isolate. Moreover, multiple collectors connect in series to form a collector combination to reduce the frequency to replace the collector combination so that a longer usage time of the collector combination is available.

  • Publication number: 20120053542
Abstract: An actuator has a pump head detachably connecting to an external motor. When the actuator extracts the pus and the infection subjects, the fluid only flows through the pump head so that only the pump head needs to be made of biocompatibility materials. Therefore, the manufacturing cost is reduced. Moreover, because the motor is not made of biocompatibility materials, only the pump head needs to be treated as medical wastes so that the disposal cost is reduced. Furthermore, since the pump head is detachable from the motor, the infected pump head is replaced independently to lower the replacement cost.

  • Publication number: 20070239039
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for measuring blood pressures by using blood oxygen concentration and electrocardiography, and the method uses a blood oxygen concentration analyzer to measure a continuous change of waveforms of a blood oxygen cycle during a cardio arterial pulse and an electrocardiography to confirm the pulse period of the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure of the blood pressure and correspond the pulse period with the continuous change of waveforms measured by the blood oxygen concentration analyzer. The microprocessor computes the corresponding cross-sectional areas of the continuous change of waveforms and the pulse period measured by the electrocardiogram, and calculates the values of the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure by a preinstalled formula, so as to accurately measure the values of blood pressures (systolic pressure and diastolic pressure).

  • Publication number: 20070023285
Abstract: A three-dimensional bioelectrochemical sensor strip structure includes a pair of insulating substrates, a transparent reacting area disposed at an end of the substrates, an opening disposed around the periphery of the reacting area, an electrode having an operating electrode and a reference electrode of different polarities disposed between the substrates, a spacer disposed between the electrodes, and a hydrophilic enzyme covered onto an end of the electrode facing the substrate. When a test is performed, an end of the electrode not covered by the hydrophilic enzyme is inserted into the sensing machine, and the testing object (such as blood) is dripped into any position of the opening of the reacting area, such that the enzyme is dissolved quickly. With the spacer, the electrodes at both sides of the spacer provide a guide of a channel, and a dedicated biochemical reaction is conducted between the oxidation-reduction substance and the test object to produce an electron transfer.

  • Publication number: 20040096069
Abstract: In an electronic stethoscope, a filter unit receives and filters an audio signal attributed to a human body part and received by a receiver so as to output a set of target signals associated with the audio signal. The target signals have frequencies within specific frequency bands and are converted into a set of digital signals. An operating unit is operable so as to generate an input mode signal corresponding to a selected operating mode for selecting one of the digital signals. A processor receives the set of digital signals and the input mode signal, and processes and outputs one of the digital signals that is selected according to the input mode signal. An audio playback unit receives and reproduces output of the processor.
