  • Publication number: 20170003106
Abstract: A shielding device of the present invention includes a plurality of rigid planar pieces slidably connected by track formation in a seriatim manner. The track formation further includes a lateral length shorter than a the full lateral length of each of the plurality of rigid planar pieces. An inset angled notch on one end of each rigid planar piece is for receiving the other end of an adjacent rigid planar piece. A travel limiter means on the track formation creates a small overlapping segment between two adjacent rigid planar pieces with a small angle formed between the two adjacent rigid planar pieces.

  • Patent number: 9103634
Abstract: Present invention teaches a foldable multi-pan shielding device consisting of a number of connected rigid planar pieces that can be easily deployed when drawn out and set up in a corner of a room or a classroom; a protrusion mechanism in between two connected straight pieces will create a small angle when clicked into place, providing a bow-like tensioning structure and a “pie” safety zone to be formed when the two side pieces are engaged to the walls.

  • Patent number: 8646372
Abstract: Present invention teaches a foldable multi-pane shielding device consisting of a number of connected rigid planar pieces that can be easily deployed when set up in a corner of a room or a classroom; a pivoting latch box will provide the central bow-like tensioning force to a central module of a plurality of rigid planar pieces, when turned to a horizontal orientation, and some inside bow pieces can be drawn out from the latch box and further providing overall bow-like tensioning force to the deployed structure, forming a temporary safety zone against incoming projectiles, such as bullets.

  • Patent number: 7124462
Abstract: A toothbrush for the use of fingers to brush the teeth of infants or young children. While fingers work better than the traditional stick-type toothbrush in maneuvering around inside the mouth, the lack of vibrating/rotating in the bristle portion greatly diminished the flexibility of human fingers. Present invention provides the small-scale motion needed to rotate or otherwise move the bristle piece connected, by a flexible yet rigid cord, to a driving member, so that the brushing youngsters teeth are made more effective, resulting in better oral hygiene for infants and young children.

  • Patent number: 6946591
Abstract: A safety device used on pianos to prevent the slamming of keyboard lid. Present invention uses a suction cup with a rod that can be folded down, so that it takes up very limited room, when it rod is down. When in use, if the piano keyboard lid is tilted towards the closing position, a rubber roller on top of the rod will contact the inner surface of the lid and stop the falling motion, preventing injuries to piano player's hand or fingers. The inner 90-degree angle of the lid will serve as a catch-well for the rubber roller to prop up the lid.

  • Publication number: 20050017911
Abstract: A helmet with integrated-circuited type antennas built into the top portion of the helmet, so that any SoC (System on Chip) unit such as GPS or cell phone can best utilize the location of the antenna to maximize signal receipt and transmission. Any SoC unit may be fitted to slot(s) located at the inside surface of the helmet, or it can be separately carried by a user on the body, such as around the waist/belt area.
