  • Publication number: 20090236270
Abstract: A water purification system performs a water purification process through physical sterilization, and at least includes a compression device and a decompression device. Water is converted into a high-pressure liquid through the compression device, and then is converted into a high-speed fluid by controlling the cross-sectional area of a spout of the decompression device, thus generating physical effects such as pressure drop and shear stress, so as to damage cell walls of bacteria in the liquid to die-off the bacteria. Therefore, purified water is obtained.

  • Patent number: 7575344
Abstract: An improved lamp fixture with anti-glare function is disclosed, which comprises: a lamp; a light source; and a light-control unit, composed of a semi-Fresnel microstructure and a light-control microstructure; wherein the light source and the light-control unit are mounted on the lamp; and the semi-Fresnel microstructure is used for diffusing/collimating light of the light source while the light-control microstructure is used for controlling the resulting lighting angle. With the aforesaid lamp fixture, not only glare can be prevented, but also uniformity of the lamp fixture is improved.

  • Publication number: 20080035735
Abstract: The identification device disclosed in the present invention is comprised of: a carrier; and a plurality of pseudo-pixels; wherein each of the plural pseudo-pixels is formed on the carrier and is further comprised of at least a light grating composed of a plurality of light grids. In a preferred aspect, each of the plural light grids is formed on the carrier while spacing from each other by a pitch ranged between 50nm and 900nm. As the aforesaid identification device can present specific colors and patterns while it is being viewed by naked eye with respect to a specific viewing angle, the identification device is preferred for security and anti-counterfeit applications since the specific colors and patterns will become invisible when it is viewed while deviating from the specific viewing angle.

  • Patent number: 6862360
Abstract: A speaker system is provided which includes a sound box and a speaker mounted in the sound box. The sound box is divided into a plurality of air chambers, each of which is formed with at least an air dissipating hole connecting the atmosphere of the box and at least an air passing hole connecting at least a neighboring air chamber, so as to generate behind the speaker pressurized air cushions corresponding to each frequency band of the frequency response of the speaker. Meanwhile, upon reaching the air dissipating hole of each air chamber the air cushions are generated depressurized and vanished at an appropriate timing so that formerly air cushions do not interfere with those generated in succession; therefore each frequency band of the frequency response of the speaker is provided with an appropriate and independent pressurized air cushion so that high fidelity sound frequencies can be reproduced.

  • Patent number: 6707349
Abstract: A directional coupler for microwave cavities is used to guide microwave signal power in both directions. The directional coupler contains a first carrier and a second carrier overlapped with each other, a metal line (such as a micro strip line) between the first and second carriers, a signal connector between both ends of the micro strip line, and a metal shell. The first and second carriers and the micro strip line are made using the print board technology. A copper foil is formed on the circuit board surface of the first carrier to form metal lines (such as micro strip lines). The circuit board surfaces of the first and second carriers are coated with a metal shell by electroplating means. A microwave cavity directional coupler with a simple structure and manufacturing process is thus achieved.

  • Patent number: 6643381
Abstract: A sound quality improving mechanism for a loudspeaker is proposed, in which a hollow annular component is deposited with a vibration-absorbing material therein. A plurality of conductive components are each disposed in a manner as to penetrate the hollow annular component in a diametrical direction, for allowing the hollow annular component to be held in place at a back end of a loudspeaker in a manner that the conductive components abut a peripheral surface of the back end of the loudspeaker, and for conducting vibration at the back end of the loudspeaker in a diametrical direction to the hollow annular component to be absorbed by the vibration-absorbing material, so as to improve the sound quality of the loudspeaker.
