  • Patent number: 8545048
Abstract: An LED illumination structure without a light guide plate (LGP) includes an optical bottom plate, a plurality of LED illumination components arranged at least along one side edge of the optical bottom plate and a plurality of reflecting structures parallel to the LED illumination components formed on the optical bottom plate from two opposite side edges of the optical bottom plate to a center of the optical bottom plate. The reflecting structures are in a shape of tapered embossment and include a first side facing the center of the optical bottom plate and a second side facing the side edges of the optical bottom plate. An optical film is arranged in a raising direction of the reflecting structures of the optical bottom plate. The present invention is applicable to an illumination lamp for generating a uniform light emitting or may further be an illumination structure for projecting a light source of a bare-eyed 3D image.

  • Patent number: 8382324
Abstract: A radiation structure without a light guiding board for a backlight module or an illuminant device includes an optical plate formed with at least one rising area having a rising surface defined at the center thereof, two light sources disposed adjacent to two sides of the optical plate, and a diffusion plate. The light sources each possess a radiant half-intensity angle below 15 degrees for respectively forming optic axial directions thereof, allowing a radiation field to be diffusively formed from the pivoting of the optic axial directions. Whereby, the optic axial directions respectively face toward the rising surface, allowing the projection of the radiation field on the rising surface, and the diffusion plate is disposed above the rising area of the optical plate. Therefore, an even radiating surface caused by a diffusion of the light sources from the diffusion plate could be preferably obtained even if no light guiding board is applied.

  • Patent number: 7891840
Abstract: A polygonal radiation module having radiating members without a light guiding board for a backlight module or a lighting device includes a polygonal optical plate with a rising area having a rising surface defined at a center thereof, a plurality of radiating members, and a diffusion plate. The radiating members surrounding a periphery of the optical plate possess radiant half-intensity angles of the radiation below 15 degrees for respectively forming optic axial directions thereof. Whereby, the optic axial directions of the radiating members face to the rising surface, and radiation fields are individually generated as pivoted by the optic axial directions to cast at the rising surface. Thus, an even radiating surface caused by a diffusion of light source from the diffusion plate could be preferably obtained even if no light guiding board is applied.

  • Patent number: 6425606
Abstract: A diffractive anti-counterfeiting tag structure with capabilities of naked-eye inspection and machine inspection and its method of manufacture. The anti-counterfeiting tag structure has a naked-eye inspection component and a machine inspection non-grating diffractive component. The naked-eye inspection component and the non-grating diffractive component are formed on separate mold-boards and then joined together to form a mold-board using a board-joining technique. Alternatively, a plurality of naked-eye inspection blocks and a plurality of non-grating diffractive blocks are randomly mixed together to form a pixel-like diffractive anti-counterfeiting tag.
