Abstract: The invention herein relates to a kind of computer printer sharing device that enables the simultaneous operation of up to four printers and which utilizes an ordinary six-conductor telephone cable to transfer printer signals and, furthermore, the main components of the aforesaid printer sharing device consists of a transmitting adapter, receiving adapter and the aforementioned telephone cable; the aforesaid transmitting adapter and receiving adapter are designed around a single microprocessor integrated-circuit (IC) chip, of which only one input/output (I/O) pin per printer is used for signal communications between the invention herein and the printers.
