    Abstract: A lamp socket arrangement for bulb with a lamp base having a first end defining a bulb opening for receiving the bulb. The lamp base has a second end substantially opposite from the first end. The second end includes a plurality of prongs which extend away from the second end. The lamp base is combined with a lamp holder having first and second ends, and defining a passage way between the first and second ends for receiving all of the lamp base, the plurality of prongs and the plurality of conducting wires for the bulb. The passage way, the plurality of prongs, and the plurality of conducting wires have a shape to substantially fill the second end of the passage way when the plurality of prongs and the conducting wires are positioned in the second end of the passage way. The shape of the passage way, prongs and conductors are such that the combination of all three form a sealed connection and a sealed end of the lamp socket arrangement.

    Abstract: A lamp device is provided with a string having a plurality leads, a plurality lamp sockets and a plurality bulbs. A plurality of posts having a tip portion at one end and a fastening portion at the other end and a connecting plate with an upper plate portion connected to the fastening portion and a lower plate portion connected to the tip portion are provided. The top portion has two tips providing a fork forming a recess on the lower plate portion of the connecting plate. The fastening portion has two protection walls, each protection wall having an extension piece formed thereon, each extension piece having an upper lug and a lower lug providing a recess between the upper lug and the lower lug, the tip portion being able to be inserted into the ground or into something loose to support the lamp device. A plurality of lamp covers are provided.

    Abstract: An expandable and shrinkable decorative lighting string arrangement with a plurality of lamp bulbs, lamp bases, lamp holders, all connected by wires to form a lighting string. The lighting string is connected to a plurality of stands by a clamp. An axis connector forms a support for the ends of the stands, and the ends of the stands are movably connected to the axis connector to form an expandable volume and a shrunken volume. The expandable volume attains a decorative structure with the stands spaced from each other. The shrunken volume positions the stands adjacent to each other. A locking device locks the stands to the axis connector to cause the stands to form the decorative structure.

    Abstract: A lamp socket structure consisting of an insulated housing, a cover, at least one insulated conductor, a conductive screw shell and a plurality of piercing plates wherein the portion of the insulated conductor and the piercing plates are securely disposed between the insulated housing and the cover. The insulated housing has an opening at one end for receiving the screw shell which receives the base of a lamp and the cover secures title housing and screw shell by hooks or extended flanges. Each piercing plate has a sharp portion capable of penetrating the insulation of the insulated conductor to contact the wire therein and another end forming a contact terminal for connection to the screw shell or an electrode of the lamp base.

    Abstract: A lamp socket unit including an insulating body, several insulating wires, a bottom cover, several copper contact sheets and a lamp bulb. One end of the insulating body has an opening to receive the lamp bulb. Another end of the body is combined with a bottom cover having a wire slot, a copper contact sheet insertion hole and a bottom cover passing hole. The bottom cover has a stay with a reversed hook. One end of copper contact sheet has a taper portion and the another end has a contact portion. The copper contact sheet is arranged and fixed in the insertion hole. The taper portion is fixed in the wire slot, and the contact portion extended to the opening of the body of the lamp bulb. The insulating wire is placed within the wire slot of the body. The taper portion is pierced into the insulating cover of wire and contacted with several copper wires within the wire. The bottom cover presses the wire into the wire slot and the reversed hook fixes the bottom cover on the body.

    Abstract: Decorative lighting string push-in type socket unit has a lamp bulb, a lamp base, a lamp holder and an insert for frictional fitting of the bulb, the base and the holder, wherein the insert is made of an elastic material in a form that is convenient to be selectively inserted interfacing between the lamp bulb and the lamp base, the lamp base and the lamp holder to make possible the stable fitting of the instant push-in assembly of the unit. The frictional force is exerted through the embossment of a raised surface in a dotted or ribbed pattern when the insert is in the form of a strap; or a pattern simulating a screw thread when the insert is in the form of an insertable nipple or bushing. The strap form insert can be made into a continuous length or may be divided into halves or sections. In addition to the abovesaid embossment, folding lines, snap holes and conductor passages can also be optionally provided thereupon.

    Abstract: A connector and fastener are used particularly for a Christmas light string. The connector has a wire holding portion and a socket-engaging portion. Locking keys are formed on the wire holding portion and receiving holes are formed on the receiving portion for engagement with said locking keys when said wire holding portion is inserted into said socket-engaging portion. The fastener has at least one snapping element disposed on a socket of another Christmas light string and a corresponding number of flat tongues formed on the outer periphery of said connector for snap fitting when said connector is engaged with said socket. The connector may be configured to connect two wires respectively to two Christmas light strings or may be a connector with a socket to be inserted with another connector or an electrical gadget.

A fuse and a fuse conductor are removable from and insertable into a channel formed within the housing through respective openings in the housing wall. The conductor and its terminals are part of a conductor assembly which includes a resilient lip for a snap fit into the plug hosuing. The fuses are connected to a bracket or semi-bracket shape securing body that slides into the housing via a guide formed by the housing that connects with an upper arm of the bracket shaped securing body. The securing body fits tightly in the housing and provides a holding means for the connection between the conductor terminals, the fuses, and the prongs.

    Abstract: A lamp socket for receiving a push-in type lamp is provided with receiving structure for being contained within the socket housing. Such structure includes a receptacle element having joined halves defining between them a central slot for receiving the push-in lamp base, from which emerge two wire leads for the lamp, such leads being bent back on opposite sides of the base tip. The joined halves of the receptacle elements define recesses at opposite ends of the slot for holding contacts at the ends of insulated leads. The halves are joined by an intermediary bar having a tab-like portion protruding downwardly with the leads on opposite faces. This portion is received by a ring-like clamp element. Outer surfaces of the downwardly-protruding portion are uneven and shaped complementarily to uneven inner surfaces of the clamp element for clamping the leads when joined.
