  • Patent number: 11324423
Abstract: Disclosed is a non-invasive system for testing blood sugar and a method of the same. The system includes a case, a control key unit, an input electrode unit, a signal filter unit, a signal transformation unit, a control processing unit, a signal amplification unit, an output electrode unit, a driver, a display unit, and a battery unit for preliminarily testing and instantly showing blood sugar or glucose in a non-invasive manner. Owing to a simple structure without any additional device or connection wire, the system is easy to use and practical to assist the user to readily test blood sugar. As a result, the present invention effectively avoids any potential risk of infection of bacteria or other microorganism due to frequently sampling the blood by pricking the finger, and particularly provides a function of fast and readily testing blood sugar everywhere for long term monitoring.

  • Publication number: 20070060135
Abstract: A device for streaming wireless digital content uses a processor, an output unit and a wireless communication module. The processor has an arbitration circuit module used to manage streaming, storage and output of digital content packets. The wireless communication module is electrically connected to the processor to connect to a wireless local area network (WLAN) to stream multimedia content packets. The digital content is downloaded from the servers connected with the Internet and played back in real time. Whether the wireless communication module is activated or not is determined so that the device of the present invention consumes less electric power and less memory space.

  • Publication number: 20060253568
Abstract: A method for digital content transmission is adopted in a digital content device. The method is used to determine the connection status between the device and a digital content server by monitoring the usage status of a memory device thereof. The memory usage is monitored, and wireless communication module therein is activated or deactivated to reduce power usage. The preferred embodiment of the present invention activates a wireless communication module in the beginning, then transmits a receive-data signal, and monitors the usage status of a memory device to determine whether to transmit data. After that, a stop-receive-data signal is transmitted, the wireless communication module is deactivated, and the transmission is turned off. While the data in the memory device is consumed, the usage status is monitored to determine whether to re-activate the wireless communication module.

  • Publication number: 20060166739
Abstract: An operating method for a wireless recreation system is described. A recreation user can log on to a recreation network server located in a wireless network environment using a portable wireless apparatus. Afterward, the user can download audio or video data from the mentioned server, or send an instant message thereby, or play an online game anywhere. Following steps illustrates the operating method after switching the portable wireless recreation device on. First, a wireless module built into the wireless recreation device is activated. After searching for a nearby wireless station, a set network address is allocated. When a link between the wireless recreation device and the recreation server is established, the user can select recreation content from a recreation menu. Lastly, the user starts performing the recreation content after downloading the required objects from the server.

  • Publication number: 20060030961
Abstract: A wireless streaming audio apparatus receives a streaming compressed audio file from a wireless streaming server through a wireless network and plays back the streaming compressed audio file. The wireless streaming audio apparatus has a streaming and decompressing controller, an antenna, and an audio output. The streaming and decompressing controller receives the streaming compressed audio file through the antenna, decompresses the streaming compressed audio file and plays back the streaming compressed audio file through the audio output. The user receives a content table from the wireless streaming server and makes a selection. The wireless streaming audio apparatus then receives a play list from the wireless streaming server. Therefore user can listen to an unlimited amount of music from the wireless streaming server without being restricted by memory size.
