  • Publication number: 20230186276
Abstract: An application executed on a user device receives a request to initiate a transaction with an entity associated with a device implemented at a point-of-sale. The application detects that the user device is proximate to the device and detects an audial tone that encodes information corresponding to an entity associated with the device. The application transmits a request to transfer a payment to the entity, wherein the request includes the information and a payment amount for the payment. When the request is received by a payment processing system, the payment processing system transfers the payment to the entity and provides a confirmation for the payment. The application broadcasts a confirmation audial tone that encodes the confirmation. When the confirmation audial tone is received at the device, the device demodulates the confirmation audial tone to provide the confirmation to the entity.

  • Publication number: 20060263310
Abstract: A cosmetic composition is provided comprising (a) metal oxide particles; and (b) greater than 1.7% by weight of the cosmetic composition of cross-linked organopolysiloxane elastomer, wherein organo-functionalised silicone fibrils are bonded to and extend away from the surface of the metal oxide particles.

  • Publication number: 20050260147
Abstract: A cosmetic foundation composition is provided comprising greater than or equal to 6% by weight of the cosmetic foundation composition of metal oxide particles and having a ?LT value greater than or equal to 0.5, preferably greater than or equal to 1.5, more preferably greater than or equal to 2.5, where ?LT is measured according to the following equation: ?LT=?L2??L1 Where: ?L1=L1110?L115; ?L2=L2110?L215 L1 is a measurement of Ly taken on bare skin, to which no product has been applied; L2 is a measurement of Ly taken on skin, to which product has been applied; and Ly is the luminosity value at a specific angle, y, from specular.

  • Publication number: 20050260148
Abstract: A cosmetic foundation composition is provided having a ?LT value greater than or equal to 3.5, preferably greater than or equal to 4.5, more preferably greater than or equal to 5.0, where ?LT is measured according to the following equation: ?LT=?L2??L1 Where: ?L1=L1110?L115; ?L2=L2110?L215 L1 is a measurement of Ly taken on bare skin, to which no product has been applied; L2 is a measurement of Ly taken on skin, to which product has been applied; and Ly is the luminosity value at a specific angle, y, from specular.
