  • Publication number: 20230367006
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to methods, systems, apparatuses, and non-transitory computer readable media for incident detection using radar sensory data. A vehicular tracking system comprises at least one on-vehicle sensor, such as a radar sensor, that can perceive the environment around the vehicle and capture data related to possible incidents that may be viewed by the sensor. A radar sensor may provide radar data that can be used to calculate velocity vectors, accelerations vectors, azimuth and elevation angles of other vehicles, and this data may be collected and stored for possible incident characterization and accident investigation. The vehicle with the sensor may be configured to behave as a third-party witness to possible incidents. Several sensors may be used in conjunction with one another, where one sensor may trigger another sensor to begin capturing other data that the first sensor may be unable to capture.

  • Patent number: 11295615
Abstract: A method for providing alerts for a traffic slowdown includes receiving location data for at least a first vehicle of a plurality of vehicles, map matching the location data for at least the first vehicle to a road network, calculating an approaching speed for at least the first vehicle at a first time, calculating a final speed for at least the first vehicle at a second time, and generating a traffic slowdown message in response to the approaching speed and the final speed. The traffic slowdown message includes at least one characteristic of the traffic slowdown.

  • Patent number: 10952587
Abstract: A dusting device is provided that has at least one cleaning member with a microfiber bundle secured to a spine by a seam. The spine provides a resilient flexibility to the cleaning member such that the spine flexes as pressure is applied, but at least partially returns to an original shape upon removal of the pressure.

  • Patent number: 7260831
Abstract: The present disclosure addresses an enhancement to a resource access decision facility, preferably a CORBA RAD, that allows additional query capabilities and faster resource access. Resource access decisions obtained from RAD are placed in a cache. An application can retrieve access decisions directly from the cache rather than requesting the decisions from RAD. If an access decision is not available in the cache, the access decision is requested from RAD. The preferred embodiments of the present disclosure allow the retrieval of lists of roles that have access to a particular resource and resources to which a particular role has access. The cache can be populated either prior to or during the mainstream execution of a program. In another embodiment, a backup version of the data in the cache can be stored in a storage medium external to the cache for near immediate restart after a crash or shutdown.
