  • Publication number: 20240140704
Abstract: An automated carrier system is disclosed for moving objects to be processed. The automated carrier system includes a discontinuous plurality of track sections on which an automated carrier may be directed to move, and the automated carrier includes a base structure on which an object may be supported, and at least two wheels assemblies being pivotally supported on the base structure for pivoting movement from a first position to a second position to effect a change in direction of movement of the carrier.

  • Publication number: 20240105017
Abstract: A gaming system includes a processor and a memory storing a plurality of stage game rule sets. Each rule set of the stage game rule sets corresponding with a stage of a game. The processor is programmed to cause display of columns each including symbol positions based on a first game configuration for a first instance of a first stage of the game and determine a first game outcome for the first instance based on the first game configuration and a first rule set. The processor is further programmed to change the first game configuration to a second game configuration based on a first trigger symbol occurring in the first game outcome and determine a second game outcome for a first game instance of a second stage of the game based on the second game configuration and a second rule set associated with the second stage.

  • Publication number: 20090165337
Abstract: A device that is a shoe heel attachment is provided, the device functioning to increase the surface area of the distal end of the heel portion of a high-heeled shoe, the device including an anchor portion and a planar portion. The device protects the heel of a high value shoe from abrasion and moisture that results from walking on permeable ground surfaces such as grass, mud, and snow, and improves the safety of the wearer from falls that would otherwise result from insertion of the heel into catching spaces such as sidewalk cracks and subway grate coverings.

  • Patent number: 6100861
Abstract: Pixel layout and placement designs provide improved color gamut in a tiled flat-panel display. The subpixels of the pixel designs are sized, placed and geometrically shaped so that the color purity, or equal amounts of RGB, are emitted from the display. The pixel designs match the subpixel size with the color filter and spectral content of the illumination source. The layout and placement design of the color pixel elements does not significantly shift the color purity of each pixel of the tile that may be in plane misalignment with respect to aperture masks above and below the tiles in the display configurations.
