The process may also be configured to determine whether the first indication corresponds to an expected arrival time of the scheduled service. Additionally, the processor may receive activity data in response to determining that the indication corresponds to the expected arrival time. Further, the processor may receive a second indication indicative that the person has completed the scheduled service. Further still, the processor may determine whether the scheduled service is completed based at least in part on the activity data. Even further, the processor may transmit a service confirmation to a computing device associated with a property owner of the location in response to determining that the scheduled service is completed.

Abstract: A system is described to authorize a transaction using blockchain technology. For example, a transaction authorization system comprises a point of sale (POS) device, a mobile device, and a payment blockchain. The POS device can initiate a transaction by scanning one or more items to be purchased and generating a code comprising a transaction identifier and a total cost of the one or more items. The mobile device can receive the code and can generate a token comprising the transaction identifier, total cost, a selected payment method identifier, and a value that can identify an account of a person associated with the mobile device. The token is sent to a payment blockchain to authorize the transaction.

Abstract: A system and method for helping a user carrying a smart device to maintain safe distances from other persons during an epidemic or a pandemic. A portable smart device measures the approximate distance to persons in the vicinity of the user, and notifies the user whenever he or she is too close to other persons. The portable smart device may overlay augmented reality graphics (such as arcs, lines, text, numbers, or other graphics) over images captured by the smart device's camera, to indicate safe distances. The graphics serve to inform and/or warn the user that he or she may be getting too close to other persons.

Abstract: Systems and methods described herein facilitate the tracking of shared ownership of assets, such as real property as well as other types of property, using distributed ledger technology (DLT) techniques. For example, in timesharing scenarios, by storing data relating to shared ownership of particular assets in a distributed ledger, such as a blockchain, various aspects of the shared ownership of the shared asset may be tracked in an immutable and secure manner with all parties involved having transparency into the data relating to the shared asset. For example, the embodiments described herein enable tracking of certain aspects relating to shared ownership of a shared asset, such as scheduling of time periods during which certain share owners may take custody, tracking of transfers of custody of the shared asset between share owners, transfer of control of smart devices associated with the shared asset, and so forth.

The method also includes automatically authenticating, using the at least one processor, the physical check based at least in part on the identified dynamic authentication code. The method further includes automatically authorizing, using the at least one processor, a transfer of funds in response to the authentication of the physical check.

In one aspect, the system and method are configured to deploy a clean, protective barrier across a touchscreen for each user of the public device. The barrier includes a transparent membrane that permits the user to provide touch-based inputs to the touchscreen through the barrier. In cases where the touch interface is generated by a projector, the system and method are configured to deploy a membrane that serves as a disposable screen for the projected interface. Once each user completes their session, the system automatically replaces the used membrane with a fresh membrane, ensuring subsequent users are not exposed to contaminants or residue from previous user sessions.
