  • Publication number: 20240152612
Abstract: A cloud-based operating-system-event and data-access monitoring method includes collecting event information from a monitored cloud-based element. One or more structured event payloads based on the event information is then generated. The structured event payloads that produce one or more validated event collections are then validated. The one or more validated event collections are then serialized and filtered to remove redundant structured event payload data. The filtered validated structured event payloads are then de-serialized to produce a time-sequenced, ordered event stream. The time-sequenced, ordered event stream is de-duplicated to remove duplicate structured event payloads. The time-sequenced ordered event stream is then processed to generate processed information security results.

  • Publication number: 20100263884
Abstract: CPVC piping systems comprising a network of CPVC pipe lengths in which at least some of the pipe lengths are interconnected with mechanical devices having resilient sealing members that are chemically compatible with the CPVC composition are described herein. Repairs and system modifications can be made without the use of solvent cement. In-line joints are formed with a coupling device including a pair of arcuate coupling segments having a first end, a second end, and an interior concave surface extending between the first end and the second end. A longitudinal channel extends along the concave surface. At least one mechanical fastener is operative to detachably connect the pair of coupling segments. A resilient annular seal is located within the longitudinal channel of each segment. A branching device connects a branch pipe to a main pipe through an orifice in the main pipe utilizing a saddle-like sealing member.

  • Publication number: 20090203017
Abstract: The invention relates to methods for the determination and detection of nucleic acids sequences in a sample. The nucleic acid may be RNA or DNA or both. The invention also relates to methods for the determination of the presence and species of various microorganisms in a sample. We have also identified a set of oligonucleotide nucleic acid sequences within the rRNAs of Gram-negative organisms that facilitates both the broad identification of Gram-negative organisms as a class when used as a pool, or in combination, for example in a hybridization assay. This set of oligonucleotides may detect sequences that are indicative of the presence of organisms of the broad class of Gram-negative organisms while exhibiting little or no false identification of Gram-positive organisms, and fungi, or other microorganisms. The assay includes concurrent incubation with at least one nucleotide sequence of interest, at least one nucleic acid probe, a fluorosurfactant, and a nuclease.
