The sterile kit may additionally include a paper towel, a fenestrated drape, a plurality of sponge applicators, at least one pouch of povidone-iodine, at least one retractable winged butterfly needle, at least one luer lock syringe, a 3-way stopcock, a plurality of collection vials with tops which may be screwed on to prevent the contents thereof from leaking or escaping, sterile pads, bandages including adhesive bandages, and other components.
