Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for a sepsis alert engine for sepsis detection. In one example, a computing device comprising a display screen displays a menu listing one or more electronic medical records (EMRs) of one or more patients, and additionally is configured to display a sepsis alert graphical user interface (GUI) accessible from the menu while the one or more EMR systems are in an un-launched state. The sepsis alert GUI displays a sepsis level element identifying a sepsis level for each patient displayed as well as a limited list of criteria that triggered the identified sepsis level. The limited list of criteria is obtained from the one or more EMRs and each criterion in the limited list is selectable to launch a pop-up UI with additional information relating to the identified sepsis level.

Abstract: A sterilization pouch incorporates a selected bottom paper layer to which is bonded to a transparent resin top layer. The paper layer carries a printed self-sealed tape which is covered by a removable sterilization indicating strip. The pouch can be formed with two elongated spaced apart side seals which terminate in an end seal which is straight or chevron-shaped. Various peel designs can be incorporated.

Abstract: A cassette has a top joined with a releasably attached double hinge to a bottom. An interior region can be filled with dental/medical instruments for sterilization and/or storage. The instruments can be supported by pre-arranged supports and retaining members. A practitioner can configure the arrangement in the cassette in accordance with his/her preferences.
