Publication number: 20180005315Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for receiving a plurality of categories of data, each category comprising at least one subcategory, receiving a weight associated with each subcategory, and storing the plurality of categories, associated subcategories and the weight associated with each subcategory. The systems and methods further provide for determining that an activity occurring in a system has triggered a risk analysis, compiling data related to a user associated with the activity, analyzing the data related to the user and determining one or more subcategories for the data, determining a risk rating for the user based on the weight of each of the one or more subcategories, comparing the risk rating to one or more predetermined threshold values to determine an alert value for the user, and storing the risk rating for the user, the alert value for the user, and the data related to the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 30, 2016Publication date: January 4, 2018Inventor: Jennifer Rae Rines

Publication number: 20130129838Abstract: Nutritional compositions having the potential to reduce metabolic acid load and methods of making and using the nutritional compositions are provided. In an embodiment, the present disclosure provides methods of selecting and administering nutritional compositions to patients. The methods may include modifications to calculating a metabolic acid potential of a nutritional composition, calculating a base content of a nutritional composition and subtracting the base content from the acid content to determine a potential renal acid load (“PRAL”) value. The present disclosure also provides computer implemented processes for predicting PRAL values.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 21, 2010Publication date: May 23, 2013Applicant: NESTEC S.A.Inventors: Kevin Burke Miller, Zamzam Kabiry Roughead, Jennifer Rae Mager, Douglas Richard Bolster, Norman Alan Greenberg

Patent number: 7759064Abstract: We have developed the primer pair H1511 and H1261 as a replacement for primer pair H279/H280 for specific amplification of cpn60 universal target sequences in genomic DNA or in complex DNA mixtures, including those with high G+C content.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 2006Date of Patent: July 20, 2010Inventors: Janet Elizabeth Hill, Jennifer Rae Town, Sean Mathias Hemmingsen

Patent number: 7507535Abstract: The invention disclosed relates to a PCR primer pair for amplication of chaperonin-60 (cpn60) targets having high G+C content and to a PCR primer “cocktail” to improve the representation of diverse sequences in chaperonin-60 based PCR product libraries derived from complex templates. In previous cpn60-based and 16S rDNA-based studies of mammalian intestinal microbiota, it has been observed that some classes of organisms such as the Actinobacteria, which are known through culture-based studies to be present in large numbers in these environments, are underrepresented or even absent from PCR product libraries. Using library sequence data and reference cpn60 sequence data from cpnDB, the chaperonin sequence database, we designed a pair of PCR primers which can be used alone for higher G+C content targets and, when used in combination with a previously developed degenerate, universal cpn60 primer pair, improve the representation of complex templates with high G+C content.Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 2006Date of Patent: March 24, 2009Assignee: National Research Council of CanadaInventors: Janet Elizabeth Hill, Sean Mathias Hemmingsen, Jennifer Rae Town

Publication number: 20070266030Abstract: A method of managing a central data repository including updating the central data repository from a disconnected nomadic device by receiving a request from a first nomadic device for access at the central data repository, authorizing the first nomadic device and sending a check out template to the first nomadic device. The server receives a checkout selection from the first nomadic device, authenticates the first nomadic device, and presents a list of authorized items to the first nomadic device; receives a request for selected items from the list and check out the selected items to the first nomadic device. This prohibits other nomadic devices from checking out the selected items checked out to the first selected nomadic device. The first nomadic device is disconnected and the checked out selected items are updated.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 11, 2006Publication date: November 15, 2007Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Allen Bradley, James Casper, Teodorico Harrisson, Noah Newman, Jennifer Rae, Paul Tung

Publication number: 20060149574Abstract: A method of evaluating architectural fit of business software applications employed in an enterprise. The method comprises providing a computer tool with a defined rating system for each one of a set of business technology factors and with a set of defined keys having respective key values, inputting into the computer tool data for a plurality of business components using the respective key values, ranking one or more of the set of business technology factors according to the defined rating system, and conducting an analysis to evaluate architectural fit of the business software applications based on the data inputted using the respective key values and the ranked set of business technology factors. The conducting step further comprises providing at least one business or technology objective and executing an algorithm corresponding to the one business or technology objective provided to conduct the analysis.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 4, 2005Publication date: July 6, 2006Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Curtis Bradley, James Casper, Teodorico Harrisson, Noah Newman, Jennifer Rae, Paul Tung

Patent number: 6601803Abstract: A sling for holding a baby bottle. In the preferred embodiment, the invention includes a rectangular pad having two stuffed end sections and an unstuffed middle section, on which the bottle rests. An elastic loop helps to hold the bottle in place. The elastic loop is attached to a first strap, which is removably retained on the end sections of the rectangular pad by strips of hook and loop fasteners. Second and third straps are attached to the end sections of the rectangular pad, and have strips of hook and loop fasteners adjacent to their ends, by which they can be. removably retained in loops to hold D-shaped rings. Fabric strips may be attached directly to the rings or to outer straps attached to the rings, with strips of hook and loop fasteners by which they may be removably retained in loops for attachment to narrow elongated objects.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 2002Date of Patent: August 5, 2003Inventor: Jennifer Rae Juranek
