    Abstract: A cable backplane system includes a backplane having a plurality of openings and mounting locations with guide holes and a datum surface. A cable rack is coupled to the backplane. The cable rack includes a tray having a frame and spacer assemblies coupled to the tray. The spacer assemblies are coupled to the backplane at corresponding mounting locations. Each spacer assembly has a floating spacer and a spring pressing the floating spacer in a biasing direction. The floating spacer is allowed to float relative to the frame in the biasing direction. The floating spacer has a guide pin extending from a front thereof. The spring presses the floating spacer in the biasing direction such that the guide pin is received in the guide hole and the front of the floating spacer abuts against the datum surface.

The RJ connector attaches to the printed circuit board assembly.     Abstract: An optoelectrical transceiver module is adapted to be retained in a metal cage (6). The optoelectrical transceiver module includes a latch (137) of a housing (1) of an optoelectrical assembly (10), an ejector (17) for disengaging the latch from a retaining tab (611) of the cage, a de-latching mechanism (20), an upper cover (4), and a lower cover (5). The de-latching mechanism includes a driving device (7) and a linking rod (8). The driving device is rotatably attached to the upper cover, and movably engaged with the ejector. Pulling the driving device drives the ejector to slide into the housing, whereupon the latch of the optoelectrical transceiver module is released from the retaining tab of the cage.

    Abstract: An SFP transceiver cage (1) comprises a mainframe (10) and a rectangular grounding device (90) mounted around a front portion of the mainframe. The mainframe and grounding device are each preferably made from a single piece of metal plate. A central spring latch (52) is formed at a bottom of the mainframe, and two kick-out spring arms (8a, 8b) respectively extend from rear edges of the sidewalls. Each kick-out spring arm has a frontmost portion (83) resiliently abutting against a rear wall (406) of a corresponding SFP transceiver module (400) inserted into the cage, and a second portion (82) resiliently abutting against the rear cover of the cage. The module is thus resiliently and securely received in the cage.
