  • Patent number: 11143349
Abstract: A shrouded pipe formed from inner and outer pipe sections, the inner pipe section having an outwardly projecting flange joining the outer pipe section, and the outer pipe section having an inwardly projecting flange joining the inner pipe section, an annular volume between the inner and outer pipe sections providing a secondary fluid path. The flanges control axial position of the inner pipe section. By providing one flange which extends radially outwardly and one which extends radially inwardly, assembly is possible of the shrouded pipe by inserting the inner pipe section into the outer pipe section, without modification of the outer pipe section or inner pipe section. The first and second flanges ensure no unwanted contact between the inner and outer pipe sections and, therefore, prevent damage to the primary fluid path. The first and second flanges ensure good load distribution between the inner and outer pipe sections.

    Assignee: Airbus Operations GmbH
Inventors: Michael Rappitsch, Konrad Rauch, Jens Döring, Dirk Friedewald-Witte
  • Patent number: 10994270
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the reactivation of homogeneous catalyst systems from organic reaction mixtures. The catalyst systems are suitable for the oxidation of organic compounds such as, for example, cyclododecene. The reactivation is carried out using an aqueous base.

    Assignee: Evonik Operations GmbH
Inventors: Ralf Meier, Stephanie Bajus, Jens Döring
  • Patent number: 10093605
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel process for producing 2,6,6-trimethyl-2-cyclohexene-1,4-dione (keto-isophorone) by catalytic oxidation of 3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexa-3-ene-1-one (?-isophorone) with hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant. In particular, the novel process includes phase transfer reagent in a biphasic system including an organic phase and an aqueous phase wherein the biphasic system includes 1) a tungsten polyoxyometallate as catalyst and hydrogen peroxide, and/or 2) a mixture of a) a mineral acid, b) hydrogen peroxide, and c) a metal tungstate.
