  • Publication number: 20150292158
Abstract: A method for controlling the formation of a fiber web of a fiber or paper producing process includes a plurality of successive individual method steps in which controllable chemical and/or physical sequences or process steps are carried out in dependence on measured values. The materials required for the formation of the fiber web are treated, combined, and/or dewatered in the sequences or process steps. At least some of the measured values are detected inline and directly or indirectly used in order to control the formation. At least the manipulated variables, which influence the formation in a relevant manner, of the individual sequences or processes are formed dependent on definable secondary conditions during the entire process.

  • Patent number: 9096973
Abstract: A method regulating the formation of a fibrous web, such as a paper, cardboard, or tissue web, in which method the formation of the fibrous web is measured online as a controlled variable and is held at a predefinable setpoint level via automatic formation regulation. In addition to the formation, the charge concentration of the suspension is measured as a controlled variable and is taken into consideration during the formation regulation.

  • Publication number: 20100141270
Abstract: A process to measure at least one qualitative measure of a moving fibrous web. The fibrous web being a web of paper or cardboard. The process including the steps of influencing, evaluating and determining. The influencing step includes the influencing of at least one microwave resonator by the fibrous web. The evaluating step including the evaluating of at least one resonance curve of the at least one microwave resonator. The determining step including the determining of at least one quality measure of the fibrous web dependent upon results of the evaluating step.

  • Publication number: 20090199987
Abstract: This invention relates to a dewatering apparatus, in particular a paper machine or a paperboard machine, for the adjustable, and controllable dewatering of a fibrous material, which is conveyed as a fibrous web that can be divided into at least two zones arranged side by side in a cross direction (CD). The dewatering apparatus is characterized in that the dewatering of the fibrous material is adaptable to a dewatering curve defined in a machine direction on the basis of measurements of the water weight of the fibrous material taken by at least two water weight sensors, in particular a one-dimensional or multi-dimensional sensor arrangement of water weight sensors, which are assigned to a zone and arranged preferably in pairs in mutually offset position in the CD direction.
