Patent number: 11143190Abstract: A pump assembly includes an electrical drive motor (2) and an impeller which is connected to the drive motor (2) via a shaft (14). The shaft extends between the drive motor (2) and the impeller, through a seal arrangement with a fluid reservoir (22). A method is provided for detecting a concentration change in a fluid reservoir in the seal arrangement in the pump assembly. A concentration sensor (30) detects a concentration change in the fluid reservoir (22), and a second sensor (32) detects at least one further parameter of the fluid reservoir (22). The sensors are arranged on the fluid reservoir (22). The sensors are connected to an evaluation device (22). The evaluation device (34) is configured to carry out an evaluation of at least one reading of the concentration sensor (30), taking into account at least one reading which is detected by the second sensor (32).Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2019Date of Patent: October 12, 2021Assignee: GRUNDFOS HOLDING A/SInventors: Gert Friis Eriksen, Jens Kjær Milthers

Patent number: 10302310Abstract: A hydraulic heating and/or cooling system hydraulic manifold is constructed in a modular manner with a main module (2). At least one load module (4) is connectable to the main module (2) and includes a hydraulic connection (22, 24) for a load circuit, and a closed-loop control device (26, 28) controlling flow through the load and for connection to an identically configured further load module (4). The at least one load module (4) includes a circuit board (44) which extends between a first (34) and a second axial end (36) of the load module (4) and which at its first (34) and second end (36) have electrical couplings (50, 52) which correspond to one another. The electrical coupling (52) at the second end (36) of the circuit board (44) can electrically conductively engage with an electrical coupling (50) at the first end (34) of the further identical load module (4).Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2016Date of Patent: May 28, 2019Assignee: GRUNDFOS HOLDING A/SInventors: Søren Emil Sørensen, Per Hovmand, Steen Mikkelsen, Jens Kjær Milthers, Kim Hulegaard Jensen

Patent number: 10119629Abstract: A hydraulic valve includes a valve housing (4) with an inside that defines at least one first flow path (7), and with a valve insert (16) which is arranged in the inside of the valve housing (4). The valve insert (16) includes a movable valve element (14) situated in the first flow path (7). An infrared temperature sensor (46) is arranged on or in the valve housing (4) and is directed onto a surface of the valve insert (16) or a surface of a thermal conductor (48) connected to the valve insert. A hydraulic manifold may be provided with such a hydraulic valve.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2016Date of Patent: November 6, 2018Assignee: GRUNDFOS HOLDING A/SInventors: Søren Emil Sørensen, Per Hovmand, Steen Mikkelsen, Jens Kjær Milthers, Kim Hulegaard Jensen, Jan Carøe Aarestrup
