  • Publication number: 20230042456
Abstract: Increasing space-time-yield, carbon-conversion-efficiency and carbon substrate flexibility in the production of fine chemicals The inventors of the current invention have found a surprising positive effect of increased cAMP levels and/or manipulating the PTS system on the space-time-yield, carbon-conversion-efficiency and carbon substrate flexibility of fine chemical production of a host organism. This was achieved by de-regulating adenylate cyclase cyaa by deleting the C-terminal regulatory region leading to increased cAMP levels or deleting the Crr protein activity (carbohydrate repression resistance) which regulates the carbohydrate utilization system. Both lead to increased 2-fucosyllactoe and 6-sialyllactose production (human milk oligosaccharides) and increase carbohydrate usage.

  • Publication number: 20180224291
Abstract: An approach is provided for synchronizing a function among an embedded system and/or one or more devices. The approach involves causing, at least in part, an authentication of at least one user at an embedded system. The approach also involves causing, at least in part, an association of the at least one user with at least one cloud account associated with the embedded system. The approach further involves causing, at least in part, a registration of one or more devices associated with the at least one user to the at least one cloud account. The approach also involves causing, at least in part, a synchronization of at least one function, data associated with the at least one function, or a combination thereof among the at least one embedded system, the one or more devices, or a combination thereof based, at least in part, on the registration.

  • Patent number: 8705804
Abstract: A method of interpreting specific dipping surfaces in earth formations, namely, fracture and fault planes from borehole images. The method is applicable to borehole images obtained from any borehole imaging tool, regardless of tool physics or acquisition type. The interpretation method provides for detailed description of feature s in order to provide a robust framework for subsequent interpretation work.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 14, 2010
Date of Patent: April 22, 2014
    Assignee: Fronterra Integrated Geosciences, LLC
Inventors: Andrew R. Duncan, Jens Klaus Hustedt, Hermann Josef Homann, Jarret Borell, Ramiro Gabriel Lopez
