  • Publication number: 20240111016
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method of Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) locating an emitter that emits a signal by a mobile receiver. A first measurement of the signal is performed at a first location, thereby obtaining first measurement results. A second measurement of the signal is performed at a second location, thereby obtaining second measurement results. A third measurement of the signal is performed at a third location, thereby obtaining third measurement results. The first measurement results, the second measurement results and the third measurement results are processed, thereby determining the location of the emitter. At least one of the second location and the third location is determined based on a reception range. Further, a locating system is described.

  • Patent number: 10382160
Abstract: The present invention provides a jamming device for jamming a frequency hopping signal, the jamming device comprising at least one receiving antenna configured to receive signals in the signal spectrum of the frequency hopping signal, an emission detection unit configured to detect emissions in the received signals that possibly pertain to the frequency hopping signal, a signal analysis unit configured to analyze the detected emissions for determining characteristic properties of the frequency hopping signal in an analysis mode and configured to output corresponding jamming trigger signals in an active jamming mode if detected emissions pertain to the frequency hopping signal, and a signal jamming unit configured to jam in the active jamming mode the relevant emissions with a predictive jamming scheme based on the jamming trigger signals if the jamming trigger signals are available and based on a reactive jamming scheme or a barrage jamming scheme if the jamming trigger signals are not available.

  • Patent number: 10355807
Abstract: The present invention provides a jamming device for jamming a frequency hopping signal, the jamming device comprising at least one receiving antenna configured to receive signals in the signal spectrum of the frequency hopping signal, an emission detection unit configured to detect relevant emissions in the received signals that pertain to the frequency hopping signal, and an effectivity analysis unit configured to determine and output the effectivity of the emission detection unit based on the number of detected relevant emissions and an expected number of relevant emissions of the frequency hopping signal. Further, the present invention provides a respective jamming method.

  • Patent number: 7286519
Abstract: A method for synchronizing to a CDMA-signal that contains a pilot sequence, overlaid with data sequences, comprises the following process steps: correlating the total signal consisting of the transmitted pilot sequence and transmitted data sequences with a reference pilot sequence; subtracting the correlation result time-delayed by one or more symbol durations of the pilot sequence from the current correlation result in order to suppress the pilot sequence and subsequent incoherent averaging, and determining the minimum.
