  • Patent number: 10471704
Abstract: A printing sleeve includes a first and radially inward layer having an inner side for directly contacting the outer side of a printing cylinder, and an outer side which is radially opposite the inner side. The first and radially inward layer has a glass fiber reinforced compressible compound such that the glass fibers may absorb the forces that arise in the circumferential direction and/or in the longitudinal direction, and the compressible compound elements may absorb the pressures that arise in the radial direction. In this way, the materials which to date act separately in the base sleeve and the compressible layer are combined in one common layer in which said materials each may perform their function.

  • Publication number: 20190270332
Abstract: The invention relates to a multilayer sheet material 10 in the form of a printing blanket or of a printing plate, in particular for the printing of conical or cylindrical vessels made of, for example, plastic, styropore, paperboard, metal, etc., with a multiple-ply printing layer 1,2 made of at least one polymeric material and at least one other layer 3, 4, where the individual layers form, with one another, an adhesive bond that is not amenable to non-destructive separation. The upper ply 1 of the printing layer, which during the printing procedure faces toward the object to be printed, comprises from 40 to 80 phr of butadiene rubber (BR) and from 20 to 60 phr of butyl rubber (IIR), and the lower ply 2, which during the printing procedure faces away from the object to be printed, comprises from 80 to 100 phr of butyl rubber (IIR).

  • Patent number: 9950864
Abstract: The invention relates to a conveyor system, comprising a conveyor belt, which has a carrying-side cover plate (3) and a running-side cover plate (4), and comprising drums, supporting rollers, and supporting frames, wherein the conveyor system forms a material-conveying upper run having a feed point for the conveying material and a mostly material-free lower run. For a further sufficient flame-inhibiting effect that does not negatively affect the further physical properties of the conveyor belt and that does not pose a health hazard to persons, animals, or the environment, the carrying-side (carrying side) cover plate (3) and/or the running-side (running side) cover plate (4) contains at least one flameproofing agent, wherein the flameproofing agent is free of bromium and bromium compounds.

  • Publication number: 20170239935
Abstract: The invention relates to a printing sleeve (1) comprising a first, radially inner layer (11) that has an inner side (11a) for making direct contact with the outer side of a printing cylinder (10), and an outer side (11b) which lies radially opposite said inner side (11a); as well as a second, radially outer layer (12) that has an outer side (12b) for forming a printing surface, and an inner side (12a) which lies radially opposite said outer side (12b). Said printing sleeve (1) is characterised in that the outer side (11b) of the first, radially inner layer (11) and the inner side (12a) of the second, radially outer layer (12) lie directly one against the other, and in that said first, radially inner layer (11) is designed to be able to absorb both forces occurring in the circumferential direction (U) and/or longitudinal direction (L), and pressures that arise in the radial direction (R).
