  • Patent number: 11492125
Abstract: A mixer assembly for mixing two air streams in a ventilation system. The mixer assembly comprises a mixing chamber, which comprises an inlet and an outlet and a mixing chamber wall delimiting the mixing chamber, and also a shroud, which surrounds the mixing chamber wall, at least in certain portions. The shroud forms and delimits an intermediate space between the mixing chamber wall and the shroud. The mixer assembly also comprises a filter element, which fluidically connects the intermediate space to a surrounding area of the mixer assembly, the intermediate space being fluidically connected to the mixing chamber. Fluid can thus flow through the filter element into the intermediate space and further into the mixing chamber. A stowage space with a mixer assembly, an aircraft with such a stowage space and a method for producing a mixer assembly in an aircraft are also described.

  • Patent number: 11319077
Abstract: A system for mixing and distributing air in an aircraft cabin, comprising: a first, internal air supply line, a second air supply line at least partially surrounding the internal air supply line, and a mixed air distribution system for mixing the air supplied from the air supply lines and for distributing the mixed air. The mixed air distribution system comprises a plurality of outlet lines for the outlet of mixed air into the aircraft cabin. The two air supply lines comprise outlets which, in each case, discharge into the mixed air distribution system. The two air supply lines are thermally coupled, and the main directions of extent of the air supply lines and of the mixed air distribution system are oriented substantially parallel or collinear to one another.

  • Patent number: 9869477
Abstract: A mixer assembly for an air-conditioning system comprising a recirculation air line, connectable to a vehicle region to be air-conditioned, to remove recirculation air from the region, and an air-conditioning air line, connectable to an air-conditioning unit to remove conditioned air from the air-conditioning unit. A first mixing region, for mixing the recirculation air with the conditioned air, is connected to the two air lines. A second mixing region, for mixing the first mixing region air with recirculation air, is connected to the recirculation air line and the first mixing region. Also, a first supply line is connected to the first mixing region to supply air from the first mixing region to a first partial region of the vehicle region, and a second supply line is connected to the second mixing region to supply air from the second mixing region to a second partial region of the vehicle region.

  • Patent number: 9511868
Abstract: A mixing device for an aircraft air conditioning system includes a plurality of cold-air supply lines, which are devised to supply cold air to the mixing device. A plurality of warm-air supply lines is further provided, which are devised to supply warm air to the mixing device. A first premixing chamber is connected to the cold-air supply lines and devised to mix the cold air that is fed through the cold-air supply lines into the first premixing chamber. A second premixing chamber is connected to the warm-air supply lines and devised to mix the warm air that is fed through the warm-air supply lines into the second premixing chamber. Finally, a main mixing chamber is connected to the first and the second premixing chambers and devised to mix the cold air premixed in the first premixing chamber with the warm air premixed in the second premixing chamber.
