  • Publication number: 20240053274
Abstract: The present invention relates to determining phase information of a fluid sample. At least one image of the fluid sample including the phase information of the fluid sample is provided. Additionally, a data driven model which comprises at least one output channel for the phase information is provided. The at least one output channel includes at least one output channel for classifying a boundary between two phases of the fluid sample, such that the phase information includes information about a property of the boundary between the two phases, such as a height, a volume, a type, or a strength of the boundary. The phase information of the fluid sample is derived based on the data driven model and the at least one image of the fluid sample including the phase information of the fluid sample.

  • Publication number: 20240002740
Abstract: A method for powering a diesel engine with a fuel emulsion involves preparing the fuel emulsion by emulsifying a fuel and water in the presence of an emulsifier package, which contains a short-chained surfactant of the formula (I) as defined below and optionally, a long-chained surfactant of the formula (II) as defined below. A fuel emulsion for powering a diesel engine is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240002739
Abstract: A method for powering a diesel engine with a fuel emulsion involves preparing the fuel emulsion by emulsifying a fuel and water in the presence of an emulsifier package, which contains a branched surfactant of the formula (I) as defined below and optionally, a propoxylated surfactant of the formula (II) as defined below. A fuel emulsion for powering a diesel engine is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230416627
Abstract: A method for powering a diesel engine with a fuel emulsion involves preparing the fuel emulsion by emulsifying a fuel and water in the presence of an emulsifier package, which contains an anionic surfactant selected from sulfates and sulfonates. The emulsifier package for emulsifying a fuel and water and the fuel emulsion for powering a diesel engine are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20210149384
Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring components of a manufacturing application system (e.g., MES or MOM) with respect to application-specific metrics is provided. The MES may include software or a computer system used to monitor, control, and log processes employed to transform raw materials to products in an industrial automation system. The industrial automation system may include a monitoring system that receive a first set of data associated with application-specific metrics corresponding to the manufacturing application system as well as a second set of data from components associated with the manufacturing application system. The monitoring system may store a third set of data, in which the second set of data is organized with respect to the first set of data in a database.

  • Patent number: 9845914
Abstract: The invention relates to a narrow gap inspection system, having a tube to be inspected, in particular a boiler tube, which extends in the axial direction and, surrounding this at a radial distance with a hollow-cylindrical gap, a casing, in particular a casing tube. The casing has an axially extending opening with an opening angle running perpendicular to the axial direction, and radially over the opening there is provided an axially mobile support system which supports a ring which is arranged in the gap and is able to rotate about the tube and has an inspection device that can be placed over the tube by means of a respective axial movement of the support system and a respective rotation of the ring in the gap. The invention also relates to a method for installing a narrow gap inspection system.
