  • Patent number: 11320035
Abstract: A gear wheel, in particular an idler gear, for reducing backlash in a gear train, includes a first wheel part and a second wheel part. The first wheel part has multiple teeth that are distributed over a periphery of the first wheel part. The first wheel part may rotate about a first axis (A). The second wheel part has multiple teeth that are distributed over a periphery of the second wheel part. The second wheel part may rotate about a second axis (B) that is arranged parallel to and offset with respect to the first axis.

Assignee: MAN Truck & Bus AG
    Inventors: Jens Tuerk, Marcus Viet
  • Patent number: 10550752
Abstract: A pipe connection arrangement for connecting two pipe ends arranged in an exhaust line of a combustion engine, the two pipe ends being aligned axially with respect to one another and/or are spaced apart and, on the outer circumferential surface thereof, each have a raised spherical segment in a ring shape. The spherical segments are accommodated in a connecting pipe which surrounds the pipe ends in an overlapping section such that the circumference of the raised spherical segments rests radially on an inner wall of the connecting pipe in a spherical-segment contact region.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: February 4, 2020
Assignee: MAN TRUCK & BUS SE
    Inventors: Jens Türk, Michael Schobig
  • Patent number: 10502105
Abstract: A dividing wall structure for a liquid collecting device and for a vehicle structure having a crankshaft and connecting rods. The dividing wall structure includes liquid channels and shaped portions for turning crankshaft and/or connecting-rod sections. Liquid can be forced out of the shaped portions associated liquid collecting device.

  • Patent number: 8973550
Abstract: An oil supply device for a crankcase of an internal combustion engine feeds oil from a reservoir to a main oil duct of the crankcase. A filter switching device allows a selection from a plurality of oil filter units in the flow path of the oil to be selectively connected into the oil flow path, to set a proportion of the oil filter units to active and a proportion of the oil filter units to passive. A switching unit switches between the active and passive states and opens up a pressurized oil flow path to the active oil filter unit(s) and also a drainage flow path between the passive oil filter unit(s) and a drainage duct. An evacuation device drains or evacuates oil from the drainage duct which has accumulated at the passive oil filter unit(s).
