  • Patent number: 7703944
Abstract: A lighting control system has at least one light fixture for illuminating buildings or partial surfaces thereof or goods or objects. Each light fixture has a plurality of light sources that generate light of different colors, and each fixture produces a total light output as a sum or mixture of the light emissions of these light sources. The control system itself has at least one control for adjusting the light emitted by the light source, a color selector that sets the color of the total light output, and a balancer that retains a set color of the total light output when a light output of at least one of the light sources is changed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 22, 2007
Date of Patent: April 27, 2010
    Assignee: ERCO GmbH

  • Publication number: 20080037241
Abstract: The invention illustrates and describes, among other things, a light fixture (10, 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e, 10f, 10g, 10h, and 10i) to be attached to a building surface or part of a building surface, comprising a connection for a signal line (11) for connecting the light fixture to a controller (12) and comprising a memory (15) to which an identifier allowing the identification of the light fixture is written, which identifier can be transmitted via the signal line. The special characteristic includes, among other things, that the light fixture comprises a transmitter (16, 16a) that can be used to wirelessly transmit signals to a position-determining unit (17) for determining the installation location of the light fixture.

  • Publication number: 20070121323
Abstract: A light fixture (10, 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e, 10f) is shown and described that is connectable via a signal line (11) with a controller and that has an electronically readable memory (15) holding an identifier of the light fixture, the identifier being transmittable via the signal line (11) to the controller (12). The novelty is at least in part that the identifier is also held in a secondary memory (16, 19, 19b) associated with the light fixture.

  • Publication number: 20070014113
Abstract: A light fixture (10 is shown and described that has a light head (11) holding at least one light source (15) and an installation unit (12) with an installation memory (24) in which data about the light head is written/ The novelty is that the light head (11) has at least one light-head memory (18) separate from the installation memory (20), the data from the light-head memory being writable in the installation memory.

  • Publication number: 20060193133
Abstract: A lamp, luminaire, lamp system or the like containing at least one light source which is associated with a memory individual thereto and in which a data set is recorded that describes at least one characteristic of this light source, preferably the color value or spectrum or the maximum light current or lumen output or a temperature dependency or aging dependency thereof.
