  • Patent number: 11668574
Abstract: An approach is provided for synchronizing a function among an embedded system and/or one or more devices. The approach involves causing, at least in part, an authentication of at least one user at an embedded system. The approach also involves causing, at least in part, an association of the at least one user with at least one cloud account associated with the embedded system. The approach further involves causing, at least in part, a registration of one or more devices associated with the at least one user to the at least one cloud account. The approach also involves causing, at least in part, a synchronization of at least one function, data associated with the at least one function, or a combination thereof among the at least one embedded system, the one or more devices, or a combination thereof based, at least in part, on the registration.

  • Publication number: 20220005140
Abstract: An approach is disclosed for providing a contextually relevant vehicle comparison for a given trip. The approach involves, for example, determining contextual data associated with a trip request, a plurality of candidate vehicles available to complete the trip, a plurality of candidate modes of vehicle operation available to complete the trip request, or a combination thereof. The approach also involves processing the contextual data to calculate respective energy-efficiency scores for the plurality of candidate vehicles, the plurality of candidate modes of vehicle operation, or a combination thereof, wherein each of the respective energy-efficiency scores respectively indicate a predicted energy efficiency to complete the trip request. The approach further involves selecting a recommended vehicle, a recommended mode of vehicle operation, or a combination thereof based on the respective energy-efficiency scores.

  • Patent number: 10972900
Abstract: An approach is provided for providing user control of historical mobility data accessed by a service related to a quality of the service to be delivered to the user. The approach involves receiving a request from the user to receive the service from a service provider. The quality of service is dependent on historical mobility data associated with the user. The approach also involves determining a first part of the historical mobility data that is to be provided to the service provider to receive the service. The approach further involves determining a second part of the historical mobility data that is predicted to increase the quality of service of the service. The approach further involves providing a user interface for the user to select between the first part, the second part, another part, or a combination thereof of the historical mobility data to provide to the service provider.

  • Publication number: 20200201354
Abstract: A method, a system, and a computer program product for navigating an autonomous vehicle are disclosed herein. The method comprises obtaining dynamic traffic information in a geographical region associated with the autonomous vehicle and determining dynamic traffic impact data of the autonomous vehicle at a first location in the geographical region, based on the dynamic traffic information. The method may further include computing a displacement threshold for displacing the autonomous vehicle from the first location based on the determined dynamic traffic impact data and determining navigation data for navigating the autonomous vehicle from the first location, based on the displacement threshold and the dynamic traffic information in the geographical region. The method may further include obtaining destination data indicating a destination of a user associated with the autonomous vehicle and determining a parking location in proximity of the destination of the user.
