  • Publication number: 20240146762
Abstract: Systems and methods for improved intelligent manipulation of distributed-denial-of-service (DDoS) attack traffic are provided. In implementations, a method may include receiving, at a traffic management system, a mirrored first stream of packets from a router on a first link and a mirrored second stream of packets from the router on a second link. The method may further include determining flow information about the first stream. In examples, the flow information may indicate that a challenge to a particular source IP address has been issued to test the legitimacy of the source IP address. The method may further include sending, by the traffic management system, a routing policy update based on the flow information.

  • Publication number: 20240143590
Abstract: Example solutions for performing federated graph queries use schemas and include: generating a logical graph using a query input and generating a physical plan using a query planning schema for double-nested loops, the outer loop for each permutation of data stores in a set of data stores, and the inner loop for each data store—ceasing when the logical graph has been fully consumed. A query cost is determined for each of the permutations, and a physical plan is selected based on the query cost, for example minimizing the query cost, and the query is executed based on the selected physical plan. The cost may be determined based on a weighted combination of factors such as freshness of the data, latency, power consumption, environmental impact (e.g., carbon footprint), energy efficiency, and network burden.

  • Publication number: 20240144042
Abstract: A candidate virtual team is generated using a team prediction model. The team prediction model is trained based on user feedback. Activity data of a user is collected, the activity data is associated with activities in which the user and a set of other users have engaged. A candidate virtual team associated with the collected activity data is generated using a team prediction model and the candidate virtual team is presented to the user using an interface. User feedback data associated with the generated candidate virtual team is received from the user. The team prediction model is trained using the received user feedback data, whereby accuracy of future generated candidate virtual teams generated by the team prediction model is improved during the training. The training of the team prediction model based on user feedback improves the generation of virtual teams over time.

  • Publication number: 20240145035
Abstract: A data structure relating to a sample of cells is described. The data structure includes first data elements each representing one of a number of first-degree nodes. Each of the first-degree nodes corresponds to a different one of a number of cellular constituents. Each first data element includes a quantitative indication of the portion of cells of the sample in which the constituent has positive expression. The data structure also includes second data elements each representing one of a number of greater-than-first-degree nodes, which each correspond to a different subset of the constituents of size two or more. Each second data element includes a quantitative indication of the portion of cells of the sample in which the subset of constituents all have positive expression. The contents of the data structure are usable to generate a visual co-expression graph characterizing the sample.

  • Publication number: 20240133528
Abstract: A downlight assembly that is selectively tiltable to direct a light source thereof at an angle relative to a housing of the downlight assembly. A threaded rod is rotatably coupled to the housing and extends vertically upwards therefrom. A fastener is threadedly coupled to the threaded rod and inserts into an arcuate slot of a plate pivotably coupled to the housing. The light source is mounted to the plate. Rotation of the threaded rod causes the fastener to move up and down the threaded rod and along the arcuate slot, in turn tilting the plate and the light source relative to the housing.
