The autonomous driving service system for the autonomous driving vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a user terminal that requests autonomous driving map data used for an autonomous driving vehicle to perform autonomous driving from a departure point set in advance to a destination, and a cloud server that establishes and manages precise map data based on raw data collected from a plurality of collection vehicles which are driving in mutually different locations, acquires the autonomous driving map data by searching for the precise map data in response to the request for autonomous driving map data of the user terminal, and transmits the acquired autonomous driving map data to the autonomous driving vehicle.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for recognizing the location of a vehicle. The apparatus includes a landmark recognition unit, a distance recognition unit, and a vehicle location calculation unit. The landmark recognition unit receives information about images of landmarks, indicated around a road in a direction in which the vehicle is traveling, from an image sensor, and recognizes a reference landmark closest to the vehicle based on the image information. The distance recognition unit collects values of distances to the reference landmark from the range sensor. The vehicle location calculation unit calculates the final location of the vehicle based on basic information about the reference landmark and the distance values.

In the present invention, if an upper node requests a lower reference node to start time synchronization, the lower reference node broadcasts a first sync reference packet. The upper node receives the first sync reference packet and transmits the first sync reference packet reception time to the lower reference node. The lower reference node broadcasts the first sync reference packet reception time, such that the other nodes perform time synchronization on the basis of the first sync reference packet reception time. Meanwhile, the lower reference node estimates the first sync reference packet reception time of the upper node to calculate the reception estimation time, and transmits the reception estimation time to a determination node that is two hops anterior to the lower reference node.
