In addition, STC1 was found to be a biomarker related to the proliferation, invasion, and migration (metastasis) of cancer cells. In addition, it was found that STC1 is detected in the serum or urine of bladder cancer patients, and can be effectively used for diagnosing and predicting the prognosis of bladder cancer by identifying differences in expression according to the patient's clinical stage.
