Abstract: An embodiment apparatus for controlling a vehicle includes a communication device configured to obtain weather data in an area where the vehicle is located, a sensor configured to obtain precipitation data, an image acquisition device configured to obtain image data around the vehicle, and a controller configured to determine a possibility of flooding of the vehicle based on the weather data obtained from the communication device and the precipitation data obtained from the sensor and, in response to a determination that it is possible for the vehicle to be flooded, determine a current state of the vehicle based on the image data and predict a future flooding situation based on the weather data, the precipitation data, or the image data.

Abstract: An embodiment safety exit assisting device of a vehicle includes a camera and a processor electrically connected to the camera, wherein the processor is configured to obtain a side-view image of the vehicle captured by the camera, determine whether a dangerous situation associated with a door of the vehicle occurs based on the side-view image, and control the door of the vehicle or an operation of the vehicle in response to a determination that the dangerous situation occurs.

Abstract: A device and a method for recording a drive video of a vehicle may include a camera configured for filming a front video, a rear video, and a rear-side video of the vehicle, and a controller that detects the dangerous situation of the vehicle based on the rear-side video filmed by the camera, and records the front video, the rear video, and the rear-side video of the vehicle filmed by the camera as an event video in storage in the detected dangerous situation.
